I dunno. Of course it's arbitrary. But over $500 just seems like way too much. Just greedy and assholey. If it was less than $200 I wouldn't have, called him a dick. Anyway, what people will buy them for is what really matters. I hope no one pays that amount for it, because that buyer could set the bar, and then that person is kind of a dick too.

This is why I don't have a problem with flipping. I was lucky enough to get the Wrigley Ames variant, and I liked it better than any of the other show posters. However, seeing what it's going for on eBayakes it tough to hang on to for a rational person with bills. I mean, it's a screen printed piece of paper, not even an original drawing by the artist. Anyways, I'm sure there are a lot of other people that buy stuff because they initially think it's cool but turn around and sell it when they realize the value to another person.

I know its frowned upon but kind of wishing I bought a spare just to trade. I thought there would be very little demand as it was available for so long to preorder. Even now I have to admit that I'm tempted to sell and pick another one up when prices drop but its a risky strategy. Unfortunately its all part of the game with records now, buy, sell, trade to get the stuff you want, you also learn not to hang about when it comes to buying vinyl. I learned that the hard way with the Benny box. $500 was a bit over the top though for this.
Dont think any members can complain they never new about this as there was emails plus it was on the site for weeks.

Well, folks have multiple memberships (or access to them). Pretty sure it was 1 each (for what that was obviously worth). The fact is, it was open for orders for a long time. There's no reason any member who wanted one didn't get one. If you're not a member......well, that's another story.

when this was first announced, I pre-ordered 2. the next day someone had one on Ebay for $300. it was gone in less than 24 hours. $500 is fishing but who knows. a Black promo cd just went for $236. the only way to beat the Bay is to be patient. i always smile when something i have goes for some stupid amount. makes being a fan/collector that more gratifying. i'm glad i got 2, this looks like a nice package
Yeah i have mine and it sure is a thing of beauty. I have seen a post on another board where a non member was able to buy on the last day. They are bound to have ordered some extras to allow for faulty and damaged. As soon as all members have them they might put these up for sale but that amount would be limited.
Yeah, it's expensive, for sure. I wish I could have bought one but it was a few days before payday, so I missed out. But... if I did get one and if some idiot was willing to drop 500 bones on it, I'd help him part with his money. As if you wouldn't! I bought a backpack as I was in the market for one as I was riding to work, then saw what people were buying them for, so of course I chucked it on eBay at face value and giggled like a school girl when someone paid over $330 for it. I just bought another quality backpack. Didn't buy 2 or 3, nor to just flip, but who could blame you! If I find my limited edition PJ20 Blu-Ray in storage I'm so selling it! I'm happy with the reissue. And we see stuff like the EV hardcover book selling on here for $150... someone is still making a lot more money out of it compared to what they paid for it... or Benny... damn!
