As opposed to making determinations off of the first time it is ever played in public. But I'm a nut like that. I belong in an asylum.
I haven't seen you attack anyone for saying they liked Lightning Bolt or Future Days. Their opinions are obviously just as flawed as those saying they don't like the songs or parts of the songs after only listening to the Wrigley versions.

I have no problem with people being positive for no good reason. It bugs me when people are negative for no good reason. Life's too short to be Eeyore.
That said, I don't think I've "attacked" anybody. Unless they've changed the definition of that word.
everybody wants the most they can possibly get
for the least they could possibly do
On top of that, I'm growing weary in general of the nitpicking apart of an album that 99 percent of us on this board have yet to even hear properly.
I think part of it is the band has been around 22 years. Some fans are still in the stage where everything PJ releases is great to them, and for some that feeling has faded. I literally loved every song through Yield (including B-sides, covers, anything I could get my hands on). I LOVED Bugs and still know all the lyrics 15 years later when I rarely hear the song. Somehow that faded away. Damn you Breakerfall! ha.
Something faded with Breakerfall? That's the weirdest thing I've ever heard in the forum.
With me, after 20 years, I'm at a stage where I'm ready to like a song just because it is a PJ song. I think I am doomed.
The new album will make me trippin all winter. Add to that, upcoming tour.
I have a feeling like the next few years will be very busy and feed us fans well. Tour, PJ20 DVD, Lost Dogs 2 and so on.
What's your part, who you are?
2012: Arras, Berlin 1-2
