Lucky that I happened to have grabbed onto a band that has lasted this long. From the beginning, too!
Not many people can say this after 20+ years.
Been a great ride...Curious to see how long the ride goes.

It has been an awesome ride. I ve been hooked since dec 91. Hundreds of bootlegs and 48 live shows later I still get goosebumps when those house lights go off and the first notes are only seconds away.
I'll ride the wave where it takes me......

I was fairly late when joining this tremendous ride. Only about 13 the first time I heard my dad playing Yield. Sometimes I regret not being able to see the band in the early years, but then I think to myself, "well at least I have them now and they're still kicking ass!".

That staying power and longevity really is a rare thing, especially these days. We are, indeed, quite lucky that way. :)

  • It all started shortly after "Temple" when a good friend who managed the local record store handed me an advance promo cassette [remember those ?] from "Ten". Hooked like a junky ever since spring of 1991. Thank you Pearl Jam.

so it's the next album after pj20....
i'm watching all these interviews and i'm in awe.
when the guys describe how they get along....
how each and every album is different from the last....
It's awesome to listen to the growth of this band.
