What's the complete set if 2003 10c boots worth?

I'm trying to get a good idea of what a fair value would be on my complete set of 2003 bootlegs. I have all 72 boots. 40 of them have never been opened and are still sealed with the original bar code sticker on them. The othe 32 have all been played once. They are all in mint or near mint condition. They all have the original spine & set list stickers that have never been used. I'm looking for a fair price to sell to a fellow 10c member not Ebay. I know I could probably get more if I sell them individually on ebay but They came from the 10c so I'd rather keep them in the 10c. I saw #59 sold for $72. Yesterday. That seems pretty steep. Any thought guys? Thanks

  • Is $1400. A fair price for both buyer & seller? Any help would be appreciated.

I thought I saw that the 2000 set all opened was valued @ $900. So I figured a bit more due to the rarity & half never opened. But I really don't know, that's y I was asking. Thanks for your input Tinz.

I've always liked the idea of lumping them in packs of 5, charge $80 + shipping each and sell them like that. That way you're not making 72 trips to the post office, you can put some of the highly desired ones with some of the common ones and that way you don't get stuck selling the "rare" ones for cheap and get stuck with the lower valued ones.

Just a thought. I personally would buy a pack of 5 off you. (pssst...PM me :))

I sold complete unsealed sets of both the 2000 and 2003 boots a few months back for $800 each shipped.

My friend was going to see Eddie last night. Since he was in Vegas, I gave him 5 Grand to gamble with. I told him I wanted it all to go on Black. Bastard! PhillyCrownOfThorns-11-2-12

I would think you could get at least $20-$25 on average for unsealed 2003 boots in great condition (with the spine stickers included unattached). So that puts the set of 73 boots at 1500 - 1800.

And some unopened...sell off one at a time unless you get a great price.

Most are worth $15 to $30 I'd say. That's what I've been paying. Obviously some are rarer than others and maybe sealed bumps the price towards the $30 mark. The retail versions are at the $15 I'd say. Honestly, I'd say $1200 plus postage & insurance is a fair deal but it's all down to what the buyer and seller agree on.

PS, if you wish to sell separately let me know. I need #25, #47, #56 and #61 to complete my collection! 8-)

2003 are definitely worth a significant amount more than 2000 due to the limited 4 week availability of each show.

I will take the 2003 set if you are still selling it.
