Definitely Milano!! Loud doesn't even begin to explain all that.

PHILLY crowds are also some of the most amazing ones I've ever heard.

And you definitely wanna get the South America & Mexico boots! Those crowds are frighteningly amazing.

Not intended to start an argument, but I was at Boston and Philly and I thought Boston was way louder. Can't really talk about the rest, but Boston (either night) was the loudest crowd I'd ever been a part of by far.

this is true but out of the 5 shows I went to in 06

Cincy was the loudest, and one of the loudest I had been to in years
  • dunkmandunkman Posts: 19,646
only the sound engineer can truly answer this kinda stupid question... he'll be the guy who has the decibel readings from the crowd on his monitors... and he's been to every show and he's impartial!!!

thats said.. Astoria wins hands down... 3 encores fuckers
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
  • I don't know about top 5, but the definitive best crowd in US History:

Philly 2003, live at the old Spectrum...anyone else who was there, please back me up on this. I have never heard anything like it.

haha. Hey no worries. I was just trying to add some that weren't already mentioned is all. I was at Boston 1 & 2 as well and completely agree. After years of listening to the boots and being floored by them and floored by Ed being so floored...this year I finally made my dream of being a part of that magic a reality. :D No argument here. I can safely say that Boston is definitely THE loudest crowd I've ever been a part of. I "get it" completely and honestly never wanna miss a show there again. EVER!

So yes erickvazdel, I will stress BOSTON. ;)

In full agreement about NYC and SF too!

I agree with pretty much everything that's been listed so far. :p
And that's actually a good mixture of shows I did and did not attend.

P.s. I've never attended a Philly show. Next tour that's my next stop.
Boston dream down...Philly dream to go. ;)

i agree. i've been to 26 shows and nothing compared to that one...i couldn't even hear ed singing over the crowd. the boot still gives me chills. i can't imagine anything ever topping that one. i wish they would play all philly shows there instead of camden.
