then he goes onto blame the girls flashing their boobies at him,...

Yeah, exactly. Or that the crowd is clapping in the wrong sequence.

One funny screw-up, I think it was Nashville 2003, he introduced Evenflow saying he knew the song so well that he could do the song, brush his teeth and mow the lawn all at the same time. Then he missed like the 3rd line.
Up here so high I start to shake, Up here so high the sky I scrape, I've no fear but for falling down, So look out below I am falling now, Falling down,...not staying down, Could’ve held me up, rather tear me down, Drown in the river

Heard him screw up Immortality in Portand solo, and the entire band messed up Come Back so bad in Edmonton2011 that they left it off the bootleg.

they fucked up come back at philly 3 so bad they stopped it too...it's prolly nice for them that they have 9.5 studio albums worth of shit that we forget it because the rest of the show is so fun

Parachutes he missed the chorus in SD but it was funny, he was following someone in the audience cause he knew he'd forget and they didn't know the lyrics either.... Have heard that kinda thing on a few boots now.

Solo he's constantly starting stopping and trying again... Making it right.

But Phoenix this last year solo, he absolutely massacred Masters of War and just plowed on through, faked verse after verse, sang the the blood down the drain line like three times, and I didn't care one bit cause that strat sounds sooooo sweet during that song....

I remember he fucked up Sometimes in San Francisco in 2006. I forgot which of the three shows it was. It was the opening song though.

Regularly? Got to be Immortality. He rarely gets the opening verse right.

If you write the lyrics I think you get to change/delete/omit/rearrange as you see fit.So under those circumstances EV Dosent fuck up ,he simply is giving the fans multiple and different versions of these songs for the enjoyment of all.

If a verse is missing from a song at a show your attending ,Im sure Ed just thinks its not needed.lol

Hell, you drink 2 bottles of wine and see what you can remember. Messed up Come Back in Columbus OH 5/6/10, but who cares. Makes each fuck-up unique to each show, even if it might be the same songs over and over.

LOL, I don't know if I've seen a version of RVM in my 22 shows that he hasn't forgotten lyrics to. Gotta love it though.

Evolution and Soon Forget (when he used to play it).

The band are also particularly good at messing up the intro for Light Years.

Man, that's a tough one. There are several. Which is why it kind of bummed me out that he was so hard on Mike about his guitar part on Lightning Bolt at Wrigley.

I noticed that in the videos... I didn't even pick up on what Mike missed

Someone on Youtube said he was pissed at whoever was throwing the tambourines to him, that they weren't getting there fast enough or something. It also bothers me to think he would get pissed off at Mike for missing something considering how often he misplaces verses but whatever.

Yeah, what was that all about? Mike was on fire the whole night and Ed gets pissed at the end of a brand new song.

I'll admit, I'm not a devote connossieur of all the new boots like I used to be, but some of these nominees wouldn't have crossed my mind in a million years.

How does he consistently screw up Small Town? Or Wishlist? Or Indifference? Almost every version I've heard of those songs has been fine.

There was a time when he kept messing up DTE like every show, singing the 2010/fire line way too early.
Back in '98, if you'll believe it, Corduroy kept getting jacked up. He kept singing the "can't buy what I want because it's free" line in the first chorus.
everybody wants the most they can possibly get
for the least they could possibly do
