The middle aged women, who for some reason, think that they have all the answers to all the questions. For some strange reason, they think the rest of us crawled out from under a rock. I especially like the ones who show up here on the internet spewing their crap. They are NEVER wrong. They have ALL the answers. The rest of us are a bunch of idiots, in their eyes. We should feel honored to have them here, so they can help the rest of us with our problems.

The moods are pretty easy to detect so I usually try to say as little as possible. And when you DO say something I pretend I'm defusing a bomb. Gotta think things through, gotta be very delicate, and you gotta make sure you don't cut the wrong wire otherwise it'll blow up in your face!
I also love how their moods gets redirected at us. "What's wrong?!?!" "Why are you doing that?" "Why are YOU so moody?" :? Why can't they have their mood and realize it's their own problem not ours? Or when they know their are moody, admit it and still pick everything apart...then you call them out and it gets worse! :fp:

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I had a few of those discussions with him.
I do think that people (male or female) should be called out on bad behaviour, but just remember that most people are pretty bad at taking criticism. I'd put it at 90% or so. So call it out so that they realize and hopefully learn something about themselves and stop the behaviour in the future... But be ready for them to take it badly. Kind of a rock and hard place....... There is something to the idea of grinning and bearing it, but I'm not sure some people are capable of doing that without going nuts, depending on the personality.

I'm 58 and definitely qualify as an Old Broad. In part because I'm a Professional Know It All.
