Man...I am debating this. I live in SD so it's not like it would be tough to hit it. I just feel bad spending so much money on shows lately...AIC/Jane's Addiction, then Pearl Jam x 3 (plus Selena Gomez for my daughters and wife).

But I must admit when the OP said he'd be playing stuff off King Animal, that got me interested again.

I want to support Chris, but I've seen Soundgarden, solo Chris with a band (Euphoria Morning tour), and Audioslave...and I am not sure if I feel like sitting down quietly listening to Sunshower and Billie Jean again.

I'm 40 but I like to rock it out! I wouldn't even be debating this if I had not missed Soundgarden recently.

    Ugh!!! What to do...
    GO SEE HIM.

Have you seen Chris or Soundgarden recently? He is sounding phenomenal and his solo shows are truly special. Solo Chris far outshines ( ) solo Chris with a band in my opinion (but I saw him later on, not on the Euphoria Morning tour). I saw Soundgarden earlier this year and those were some awesome shows, but his solo shows are very different. He talks a lot more, is very personable and banters with the crowd sometimes.

I really don't think you should miss it if you can afford it and have the time.

No, not recently. Audioslave years ago was the last time I saw Chris. Hmm...will sleep on it.
19 Pearl Jam shows and still searching for Deep!
    1998 (2) - East Lansing & Auburn Hills; 2000 (2) - Tampa & Noblesville; 2003 (2) - Lexington & Noblesville; 2006 (1) - Cincinnati; 2007 (1) - Chicago (Lollapalooza); 2008 (Ed in Milwaukee); 2009 (1) - Chicago; 2010 (1) - Noblesville; 2013 (3) - San Diego & Los Angeles I & II; 2016 (Temple of the Dog in Los Angeles); 2017 (Ed at Ohana in Dana Point);
    2021 (3) - Dana Point I, II & III; 2022 (3) - San Diego & Los Angeles I & II; 2025 - Southern U.S. Tour Please!

You haven't seen him recently?? Now I feel even stronger about this. GO SEE HIM! He sounds tons better than Audioslave days and he does all kinds of songs from his entire career plus some awesome covers. Check stuff out on YouTube!

No idea what the fan club presale is.

Which time zone does the presale start? His website says 10AM...is this eastern, central or western?

Except for Vancouver, Calgary, Saskatoon, and Winnipeg. The presale starts on August 21st for those.

Where do you order with the presale? The St. Paul show isn't showing up on Ticketmaster....

  • I bought only one ticket at Massey Hall on November 6. I feel bad of buying only one because I got myself a front row seat.
  • FUCKING BULLSHIT. The fan club presale isn't showing up. Just fucking AMEX. And I don't have AMEX. Fuck this bullshit.

Anybody else not seeing the fanclub tickets on tm? I wanted to go for Lakewood, but there is only AmEx cardholder tickets available :( What to do?!

    Same problem here.
  • You may have to buy tickets through the venues website. Thats what I just had to do for the Boston show.

Yea, ridiculous. Think my buddy scored some with his Amex for me. Absurd. I hate credit card presales.

Try here, click on the "buy tickets" option next to the show, maybe it will work. It didn't for me, I had to look up the venues website

But why does it say there will be a fan club presale and a amex card holder one? I don't get it. I just talked to tm on the phone and they are inquiring the fan club now to see if they maybe changed the pw ...

I pulled Reading, PA tix. The site defaulted to AmEx, I had to click on "other ticket type" or something and that brought up the fan club tix.

Tickets were getting better with each try, glad I threw my first couple of pairs back. Ending up with a Box, row 1 :D
