The $20 you won in the carry over pool will be added or deducted from your total winnings or payout at the end of the season

The Week 3 six-for-six pool now totals $10

Whoa I won $20?! woohoo!!!!

    PLEASE READ

as far as the officejunkie, i need to see it in action for a little while longer

    it could work though

for this week, phardin offered to help out

if he still can, we are all set

what i think will be easier for him is this

i will run it through saturday night

if you send picks on wednesday through saturday night, send them to me

i will pm my picks after i post them on friday morning

if you make picks on sunday, pm them to phardin

phardin, you should try to pm me your picks by saturday night to keep it real

i will email you my spreadsheet so you can post sunday at 1pm

text me your email if you still have my cell

    pm me if not

Shouldn't pick of the week be those of us who took the Jets +12.5?

I use the "only person to pick that cover" as pick of the week

It's just for shits and giggles anyway, whatever the fuck that means

    Plus, the jets suck

Yeah exactly, but they still covered, lol

I just thought it was the pick with the biggest point spread. Not that it matters. I'm just a bit of a perfectionist and OCD, that's all. I also double check the standings every week too.

That's what I like about the DGFL

It only works if we have most, if not all, checking my #'s

We haven't had an error that hasn't been fixable

I will try to look at office junkie a little closer this week

But one of the issues that I have is jumping betweeen the 2 sites

I like having everything right here

Would we even need this thread anymore?

The only benefit I see is the chance of having more people get in, non-tenclub members

The " less work for me" thing doesn't apply

This is a labor of love, baby

And please, gimme some of what y'all think would be benefits of using the other site

Along with any issues, or flaws, of using only this one

I have no issues doing it this way. I like it. And I appreciate this is a labour of love for you.

I don't like change either, so I'd vote to keep doing it this way.

It's a labour of love fore me too. I use pen and paper and have my clipboard, lol. It's like an assignment, but I love it.

I'm fine with the way you run it now.

I've only suggested using an outside site because i'm a 'work smarter not harder' type of guy. The only advantage for us would be to see all the picks on one screen with the results coming in as they happen

I'm quite fine doing it the way we do it so long as Eric doesn't get overwhelmed. I've run something like this in the past and its more effort than folks sometimes realize. Eric devotes a fair amount of time and does a great job.

And damn the Steelers for lolloygagging on their final drive last night and letting the clock run out when they could easily have gotten the back door cover.
    This weekend we rock Portland

    I hear ya, horos

I still think there could be some benefits from that site

I will watch it more this weekend

As far as picks on one screen and live results

I assume most of us here print out everyone's picks at 1 pm and get live results as we watch games

I have my picks scribbled out on something -- usually a sheet with other bets, my 3 fantasy teams & who I am matched up against --- and it gets folded up and rammed in my pocket.

This weekend (Vegas!) I will have the morning action slips buried in my pockets. ;) Missing the afternoon games as I will be on a plan back, no doubt rocking myself back and forth in my seat and bemoaning all of the foul shit I put into my body over the weekend and how poorly it made me feel.

Thanks ponce, tailgate whiskey's on me in Worcester

And thanks to all who do appreciate this league

But if you knew me well, the very last reason I want to run this is for praise

Who else is in for Worcester?

The ones I know of are

    Vermont21O
    Ea sports

The 4 of us will have to try for a quick meeting before the show

Thanks dude, my liver & kidneys hurt already. Hoping my college bets return some $$ for me.
Seeing Dave Chappelle & Flight of the Conchords Saturday night before we go out as well....so not ALL party time.

I'm fine with the current method too, just thought the other site would be easier on you because I imagine this is a lot of work to keep track of everything. The only other advantage I could think of is there would be less chance of an error keeping track of who won lost and the standings.
