Dublin - 10C or GA?

as the Dublin show is just a blink of the eye away I thought I'd ask who of the people going have 10C tickets (like almost everyone I know) and who have GA tickets (like me :D).

I thought it'd be better to create a whole new thread for this as my question would get lost in the Dublin Here We Come Thread anyways and so on.. :)
so yeh, what kinda tickets do you have?

one of the reasons I wanted to ask is cause I don't wanna be alone. :o:D lol.

    well, I think that would depend on is there room in the pit methinks.. but mine's standing anyway. :D:)

    Na it will just be first come first served for the front section. Those with 10c tickets merely get in 15 mins before the rest of the crowd.

    Ive got a 10c ticket. Not sure how many there are, 500-ish maybe?

    Ah thats shite! So i cant get up the front? Ah im pissed at that. How do they work that? Is it a separate queue?

    Well, you can get in the "front section" if you turn up early enough, assuming that there are less 10c tickets than the capacity of the front bit. As far as getting "right to the front" goes, that will be impossible unless you're a 10c ticket holder that intends to queue from VERY early in the day.

    Im assuming there will be a seperate queue for 10c wristband holders, unless security are seriously disorganised!

    I think what will happen is, that the 10C ticket holders get to go into 15 mins early. After that, once it's GA admission, the 10C ticket holders not already in the venue, get no special perks. So in order to qualifiy to get near the front you have to get in in the allocated 15 min entry.

    eMMI, don't worry hun. If it's squished up the front I shall be making my way towards the back in the latter part of the show anyway.

    I wasnt hoping for the very front but the pit anyway. Ill be there early and hope for the best!

    what times are non-10c ticketers queuing? I'd like to be toward the front of the queue that's going in at the standard time.

    I'd guess there will be people queing up from the morning/early afternoon.

    What's the capacity of the pit at the front? And how crammed does it get in there - is there room to breathe and move around or is it really squashed? Taking the Mrs and no way she'd want to be crushed for 3 hours!

    After a girl was crushed at a Smashing Pumpkins gig 10 years ago they've gotten a lot better, i.e. they have a barrier for the pit. However, I've found that it's fairly random as to whether they use that barrier or not. The last two gigs I've been there (REM, Bob Dylan), there wasn't one. It was fine for those gigs (especially REM, no crushing at all), but I'd imagine it will be different for PJ. It could get pretty tight in there. For most bands I wouldn't bother my ass trying to get close, but I will for this one.
