Night 1 should officially sellout within the hour. I think one of the reasons it has taken so long is that TMs system is a piece of shit and keeps accepting/rejecting ?!?

Food for thought- Assuming we will get a 2nd Seattle show and there is 10C lottery wouldn't folks who won night 1 Seattle be banned from participating ?!? If not i foresee some unhappy campers.
They might do that... Just as long as they don't do a lottery where only those who tried for night 1 can enter for night 2, as I've seen some people suggest. There is a reason I didn't try for night 1 - I can't go to it. But I could go to one on Saturday. It would be very unfair to only offer tix to those who tried for a show on a different night.

Fingers crossed for a night 2 with a normal lottery!!! I never expected a sudden TM drop of a second show. They can't sell 10c tix like that.

Thank you for putting this to bed!!

Thank you for the morons who work at TM customer service too!

If they do this on a lottery basis, members who didn't enter will probably be able to enter too. Only those who already won for night1 are likely to be shut out, as you can't win both back to back nights for any show.

Thanks for posting this! Now we know our hopes are not in vain

Interesting!! Sounds like good news! .... I wonder why, if true, they would de ice to do it like this though... Why not just announce both shows at the same time? I find it hard to believe that they wouldn't know they were doing two shows from the beginning (i f two shows happen). Do bands just do it like that for show??? .... Ooorrrrr.... Maybe it is an all-10c show. :o A girl can dream. :D

Lots of the European shows last year were only announced later on...Manchester 2 & Amsterdam 2 just went on sale right after the first ones, while Berlin 2 and Prague were done in a lotto.

Yeah, second shows are added all the time (but interesting that PJ used two different methods during same tour... Strange). I just don't get why. Obviously second shows are already arranged. The venues already booked, the ticketing company knows it's coming, the bands know they have the demand... Why hold them back? Just for fun? Do they get a kick out of seeing everyone scramble? Or is there a legit reason? Is there a scalping factor that I'm not thinking of? Or is it just to create a buzz?

Humm.....I know that peoplewho scored tickets for night 1 probably shouldnt be allowed to get tickets to night 2 but I for one would be annoyed if night 2 is on the saturday. I was lucky enough to score a ticket forwhich I am eternally grateful but it was my understanding that this was for the last night of the tour which I expect to be very special. If there were 2 dates advertised I would always have gone for the last night for this reason.

Anyway.....my flights are booked so the Irish pigrimage is on and Im pretty sure I might get a behind the stage TM sale single if a 2nd night is announced so happy days :)

For those who havent had a ticket yet I am crossing my fingers and toes for you and hope to see you at a party there :)

PS I still think the 2nd night should be 10 club only and all allowed to go into the lottery.....that should give us enough for all to be there :)

Yeah, a 10c only Seattle show to close would be mind blowing!!! But I'm thinking that's not in the cards after hearing these stories about TM being aware of the show like that. :(

doesn't make much sense, does it?

I think they did the lotto for those two because of the crowdsurge ticket desaster in the pre-sale, so they quickly went for a different method...that and a lot of people complained about them not announcing the 2nd Manchester and Amsterdam shows before they went on sale.

There's a reason for them not being announced immediately, I remember Kelly Curtis saying something about it in that q&a thing on here...I don't remember what it is now though, but I think it had to do with the ticketing company.

If they do a second show (which should and will happen), they should make it 10c only. They could easily sell it out, I guarantee it. And it would only make it fair for those who scored on 10c tix for the first night and are out of towners staying until Sunday, and still allow those who lost on the first night to make it.

I mean, Philly and Brooklyn are getting two shows.....Seattle as the last stop on the tour on a weekend SHOULD get two shows.

I agree, I got shut out of 10c tix for the Seattle show, but bought crappy TM tix anyway on the basis that this is the closing show, if they add a 2nd show it should be on the 5th.

sigh.. I like the thought, but what in gods green earth makes you think ticketmaster would allocate 100% of tickets to a fan club? holy schnikes! :)

It seems the 10c has hard enough time getting the tickets they do and you think they can pull off the entire venue.

TM gets no kickbacks for selling tickets directly to brokers. They loose out on tonnes of money. Never going to happen.

Not unless they can find a suitable non-tm (or other crooked ticket agency) venue. Good luck pulling that one off in the 21st century.

They're in Vancouver on the 4th, so they can't do Seattle on the 5th. If it does happen, it will most assuredly be on the 7th.

Why not the 5th? It's only a 2 hour 30 minute drive from Vancouver to Seattle. Though it would be intense to do 3 show's back to back to back. 7th would be great though. Or the 8th. Either one, I'm good for. :)
