you always put great ideas to the tablePaul Andrews wrote:Actually, why not just tick a box when you order your tickets.
1 Ticket Pair Only
2 Ticket & Poster
3 Ticket & T-shirt (size)
4 Ticket, Poster & T-shirt (size)
This way we can pre-order all at the same time and have them shipped direct rather than having to line up and try to keep them safe during the gig. It would also ensure that people going to the event don't miss out and fall victim to flippers. It would allow the 10 Club to pre order a number of posters with the rest sold at the gig and any remainders offered from the 10 Club site. They could even offer certain specials for the preordered posters (signed by band/artist, or a couple of stickers through in etc). Everyone has a win."...Dimitri...He talks to me...'.."The Ghost of Greece..".

The only problem with this idea is that because tickets go on sale months before the shows all the designs may not be finalised so you are buying blind essentially. I imagine many people would go for it especially with the poster option.0 -
People hated spending 20 minutes hitting F5, so we got a lottery.
We should have a lottery so people don't have to wait 4 hours for a poster.
We should have a lottery so people don't have to wait 12 hours to get in to the venue.
We should have a lottery so people don't have to wait 20 minutes to use a port-a-potty.
Let's ruin the entire concert experience, not just the tickets, with lotteries!0 -

And people have spent a lot longer than 3 hours in line to get merchandise, not sure what your point is. In general, F5 ran very smoothly, and never really took that long to get tickets. Sure there were a small amount of bad F5 days that took hours, but the awesome part is that the faithfull who were still around trying after a few hours deserved those tickets.0 -

Genius. Pure and simple. They would be guaranteed an extra $70 from me at every show.___________________________________________

It's OK that you suggested it, but it's never going to happen. No business in their right mind would destroy the hype they have by disclosing what you ask. There is nothing to gain and much to lose. But we can keep talking about it if you want. While we are at it, how about another simple suggestion... 10C gives everyone free front row tickets to every show they want! That would be great!0 -
To the people who are concerned about different shirts and posters for different shows, my suggestion is that you check the box for shirt or a poster and you buy it, and then you get the one for your particular show. If there are different ones at a particular show, maybe you check the box for shirt and or a poster, and then after the show, you get an email from 10 club which specifically asks which shirt and which poster. That way, they would not have to disclose what they look like prior to the show, and because it was you and your tickets your preorder and you went to the show, do it half that exclusive right after the show to buy such a thing for yourself.Up here so high I start to shake, Up here so high the sky I scrape, I've no fear but for falling down, So look out below I am falling now, Falling down,...not staying down, Could’ve held me up, rather tear me down, Drown in the river0

If they were TRULY against flipping, they would disclose edition size.. most artists/companies tell how limited their items are.. MOST!MG79478 wrote:pjtaper wrote:MG79478 wrote:People hated spending 20 minutes hitting F5, so we got a lottery.

The t-shirt style is not really an issue as they usually only have one show specific shirt and the rest are tour shirts.0
