We are at 332 votes! Wow That is incredible!
eeriepadave - I think the girl with the cat named Mike who has met the whole band and the professional photographer are in their 500s, but there is a guy with a picture of Macchu Picchu and his hand, and he somehow overrun everybody yesterday and now has more than 800...

The contest ends on August 2nd. Until then, everybody can vote once every 24 hours. I am so very thankful!
Tremors, nice try, but in that case we would have to buy vinyl in order to give it away. We don't have any of that.


We thought more about a concert related giveaway, like the show's poster or something like that. We are not bribing anybody. We cannot afford the whole package (tix, hotel + flight), so we are trying to win part of it


october22 - you have to allow the app access to your general fb data. When on a computer, you are being promted to do so in a pop-up. When on a phone, you have to go to the privacy settings and change it manually, I think.

Seriously though what we need to ask is that everyone who votes from here also asks some of their facebook friends to vote too.

I know very little about facebook - but I'm guessing that we need a few more numbers voting - a kind of snowball effect...... You could be the next Susan Boyle!

Yeah, a snowball effect would be cool ... We are doing really good, it's just not close to 800something of that guy. The votecount of the three people in front of us seems to have slowed down a little, but ours is moving constantly. That is good. And there is still time!

There is not only one but 2 MacchuPicchu pictures as far as I see. Ironically, the one with the lesser votes looks like the better picture to me. :roll: :geek:

Another pic from Buenos Aires looks like came from nowhere in overnight with 500+ votes. :?

Yeah, the three people in front of me are all SAs, then there is me and then nothing for a long time. The Buenos Aires guy says he has won a photo competition with his picture, and it has been shown in an exhibition. I don't know if that works with that contest, since the rules said the picture has to have no copyright stuff and not been used for commercial or other purposes or published before. But what do I know... The Macchu Picchu guy made a very uninspired photo and post IMO. He must have a big family or like duska said, is maybe a travel blogger or something like that. Well, and the girl seems a tad stalkerish to me :P But that is just my opinion. It is a contest, so I can emphasize how much more awesome we are :angel:

So yeah, I think we are the best choice! We got to know each other because we both love PJ. We are young, awesome and VGL, we love PJ, we can rock out, we are from the mid west where no shows are being played. (Detroit is bancrupt, we need a ray of sunshine in our life )
PJ has never played my hometown in Germany. Our cat has a normal name, but we have "You Are" engraved in our wedding rings, went to see Eddie solo in Memphis on the evening of our wedding, had a PJ-themed wedding party later in this summer, and our "memorabilia" are not really material, but memories from shows and experiences made when meeting fellow fans

My lovely wife Lisa has working herself up into a frenzy this past week trying to win this contest. All of you have been soooooo great!! truly, this community of people is 1st class and second to none.. I cant wait for the day when I get to personally thank you all. Facts are facts though.. I am no quitter, but it isnt looking so great for us in the contest. Another fact I have realized over this past week is that my wife REALLY wants to go to this show! Real bad! So bad that she would bug the shit out of every contact she has and "the contest" has basically dominated our conversations this week.. She inspires me, I wish I had her dedication.. I do, to her.. So with the standings not looking so good, December being so far away, and tickets being made available today I made a decision.. I realized that this would make her soooo happy..While she was in her office motivating (bugging) all of you, I was back at my computer giving it hell for a pair to Seattle. SCORE!! I am happy to report (happier that i dont have to hear about this shit any longer :P ) that we are GOING TO SEATTLE!!!!
