There's a Members Only section of the Shop. Fill that sucker up!
Great idea, but better yet; first offer the merch to 10C members who received tickets brought the club. Would not be difficult whatsoever.
No, first offer it to 10C members who didn't receive tickets through the club and had to buy them on the secondary market. As sort of a consolation prize.

The merch situation kind of bummed me out. I didn't have time to wait outside all day Wednesday, Thursday or Friday for merch as I didn't get into town until Friday afternoon. Luckily, there was a stand outside section (#4). It was a smaller one (inside a side room), so the line was pretty organized. Of course, they ran out of posters before I got there. Still, got a Wrigley T-shirt for myself and another PJ shirt for my lady. Was only in line about 25-30 minutes.
However, I sat next to the douchiest of all poster douches during the show. This clown had two copies of each of the four posters (!!!). I offered him $70 for one of the prints on the spot. He considered for the entire show then said he just "couldn't do it, man." Yea, I might have lowballed him, but it was all the cash I had at the time.
I just wish we could order the posters online again. I'll even pay up to $60 to 10C if I can get it ahead of time. So many sadsss.
Oh well. Just a poster..
The merch was already starting to show up on the secondary market as early as mid-afternoon Wednesday and I'm sure after seeing what they were going for there was no way he was going to give it to you for half of what it could potentially be flipped for. Such a shame! For the record you didn't lowball him you offered double of the price paid for the item. He chose to most likely flip it on the secondary market which is loaded right now with Wrigley stuff

Yea, I was just hoping he'd help out a fellow fan. He had seven other posters he could flip for $200+ a pop.
No way was I waiting in any of those lines. I took a gamble that they're just going to put more online for sale (all in good time). Stay off of those sites selling the posters for hundreds. Patience, my friends!

I really hope they do at some point get some stuff on here but I'm not counting on it.
I think besides the baseball cards the Wrigley merch won't be all that sought after. Ended up being a memorable but definitely awkward show. As someone who was there I wanted the merch a lot more before the show than afterwards.
Wasn't crazy about the posters. The shirts were okay but other than that there's other stuff from past tours that I would want more. I'd still like to own a pack of cards though. They look fun. I wouldn't overpay for anything
I did not wait in the merch lines at all and really was not that worried about it. However on my way back from a piss break before the show started the merch booth by my section had no line and I was able to get one of the last shirts they had.

I'm not really into the kitschy stuff, so if I can't get a pennant or trading cars, big whoop. I just want a poster or two for my walls and a t-shirt. They have a lot of the old posters for sale soon after the tours, so that's more to what I was referring. I just value my time more than sitting out in the heat all day when I can be out enjoying the city. To those of you that braved the lines to keep the stuff - I admire your tenacity. For those that bought all of that stuff just to flip on the websites, end yourselves. Hugs.
For me, the bottom line from all of the cluster fuck that was the merchandise debacle from this weekend was that in no way, shape or form did any of us paying members of Ten Club...who have been loyal members for years or at least took the time to become a member even if it was just this year....none of the Ten Clubbers got any special consideration when it came to this merchandise and thats insane to me. Its things like that, that make being in the fan club worth it...that's the type of perks you pay for year in and year out.
Opening the booths early was both good and bad. I couldn't, as I assume most people couldn't..get to Chicago before Friday. Once they saw how insane the lines were on Wednesday and Thursday when logically probably 75% of the crowd wasn't even in town yet...they should have reorganized and got better prepared for Friday when most people would be flooding into town. I wasn't able to get to Chicago until close to 4 oclock on Friday and it was absolutely impossible by then to get anything that didn't require heat stroke and 4 hours in line. Now I'm looking at paying triple the price for just a poster.
Ten Club needs to reward the actual members of Ten Club when it comes to stuff like this or else what's the point in paying it every year?

There was no way I was going to attempt to stand in a 4 hour line for a CHANCE at a t-shirt,poster,etc... In mid 90's weather with a heat index of 100+ degrees. I gave it a shot when the gates opened in 2 different lines for an hour a piece just to make it up there and have almost nothing left
The people who won hotel packages through the fanclub had a hard time getting merchandise and a lot of them were shut out of things they wanted to purchase. You would have thought out of everyone they would have been taken care of two times over seeing as they were there as part of a fanclub function. After hearing about the mess they had of a merch stand at the hotel it seemed that it was par for the course for the 3 days leading up to the show
