Rain looks like Randalls Island in 96

Jesus I had a great time at that show. It was my first PJ show and I bought a tye dye t shirt in the lot for $5 because I was soaked through and through. Took 2 hours to get out of the parking lot and it was one of the best nights of my life!! Drove home wearing nothing but a t shirt and hoped I didn't get pulled over!
Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!

gotta give the guy credit...to stand out there in crazy heat to sell water and not drink it all...that's dedication...maybe he's a jammer who just couldn't get in and wanted to be part of the action...

and people were permitted back in at the sheffield and addison entrance...guess to get out of the rain...let's hope...
Lots of love, light and hugs to you all!

It amazes me how much the organization cares about the people there. Here in Argentina shows are almost never suspended due to weather. I've been to several concerts with pouring rain and in one of them the rain came down so hard that it even broke part of the lights in the stage. Even in the last PJ show we had here this year all the GA ground was pure mud and water because of the rain that we had the day before and it was really dangerous when all the people started jumping.

I'm really sad for the band and for the people who went to see them but at the same time I have a lot of respect for them wanting to take care of the people.

Let's hope the weather gets better and they can continue playing :(

Umiko is right: find footage in You Tube from Motley Cru show in 2008, 3 hours of massive rain, way before the show started, it wasn't cancelled, they wouldn't be able to reschedule... I ruined all my clothes that night...

Exactly! That's one of the shows I was talking about...

Better safe than sorry... Play through rain, but not wind or lightning...

Recall the Indiana state fair Sugarland show? Wind bleew the entire lighting rig over onto the crowd....

feel kinda bad for all the folks who flew in. at the very least they're at one of the most memorable shows they'll ever go to, PJ or any other band. and they got some cool merch.

I'm wondering how they handle this. If they cancel it right now, it'll put everyone leaving right as the cell arrives. Bad times.
