That is so bad ass. Looks like the band is going to pay lots of fines in order to give their fans a show, cause I dont see Wrigleyville extending a curfew til 2 am

I'm gonna go to bed now, and wake up in the morning and read about how glorious this show ended up being. This is going to be one hell of a night for the fans at Wrigley.

I hate to be the negative one here but with such a long delay I only see two courses of action. The only one for the fans is to cancel the show, as it's hard to believe even with an extended curfew the band will be able to deliver the full show they wanted to. If they decide to go on later tonight and end up with a shortened up set it will take some amazing setlist choices to keep people from feeling like they got the short end of the stick. I hope whatever happens the fans get a good show.
There's gonna be a lot of people with flights back out etc that can't do a rescheduled show I really hope they sort something with the curfew & surrounding neigbours. acoustic after midnight?

So many people have gotta have left by now. :(

I think it would be pretty tough to reschedule this until atleast October. It's pretty obvious that this was scheduled to coinside witth the all star break plus a road trip for the Cubs that fell afterwards, leaving a lot of time to prepare. Don't think they can re-do this during the season. Maybe PJ can absorb a fine and keep playing if the storm F's off.

yeah do a daytime concert tomorrow at noon

Jason Aldean soundcheck, they may have to slightly re-configure the seating arrangement, supplies (drinks, food, merch, etc) has to be re-stocked, bathrooms have to be cleaned, etc.
    #### Jason Aldean, make them deal with it, Pearl Jam are legends and he's a scrub

They can do a side-by-side concert ala Billy Joel and Elton John.

I hope everyone is okay with Aldean covering Evenflow.

Unfortunately this may go down as the biggest flop in the band's history if the weather doesn't clear really soon :(

a weather related cancelation would not be a flop at all.

    not their doing whatsoever

In the mood of finding some logic where there isn't any, I wonder what it's worse, not being able to attend the show today and sell the tix, or getting tix at the last minute but not being able to stay for tomorrow?

    Another cell just hitting now.
Isn't the name of their new album "Lightning Bolt?" There's some irony here.
I feel for the fans and the band that's there, at the mercy of Mother Nature. Glad I'm home and didn't make the trip ....

    I am calling it in...

    Ring- ring-ring

    Hello, Universe?

I would be so grateful if you please asking Mother Nature to rain in another area. Away from Chicago. Give PJ the chance to reward their fans.

Thank you in advance, with lots of love, light and hugs!

    Shimmy

BTW...I am staying until this is over, I can't leave my friends hanging.
Lots of love, light and hugs to you all!

I think they can afford that with all the goddamn merch they sold over the last three days. That must have been the plan overall. Sell enough to support paying massive curfew fines.

watching people leave makes me want to throw up. I wanted to be there so bad.. Ed would personally have to tell me the show was cancelled in a hand written letter, written in australian goat semen and indonesian boar blood to get me to leave.

That's a little harsh...How is it Pearl Jam's fault that the weather sucks and they want to keep people safe?

Not sure if it will show...but when I checked the radar for Chicago, a banner for Pearl Jam Lightning Bolt was at the top
