Just a few things to say...
The show was epic. The energy incredible. Regardless what the concensus is - IMHO - the setlist was fantastic. Also IMHO - poster not so good.
We were lucky to be staying in the Delta - where the band was staying. I actually felt like I was being stalked by Chelios - couldn't shake him - saw him all over town. The funny part was watching him hang out in the lobby and such for a couple hours. Was Eddie too busy to hook-up when Chris wanted to? lol......
Saw Jeff a couple times. That was it. I just wanted to catch a glimpse - but - they outsmarted this N.ONT dude at every turn. The cool part was hearing the stories from everyone that stayed in our hotel - their chance meetings. The 2 guys (10clubbers) we (wife and I) chatted with in the elevator, that ran on the treadmill that morning at 8am (wife decided at 745 not to go down to the gym - lol) beside Eddie. The people we met that got to shoot a couple hoops with Ed and Jeff. The guy (we later met up again at the pre-party and had a chat on the patio - with herb) who got a pic in the elevator with Boom. The lucky fella from Sweden (hockey jersey and all) who met Ed in the elevator - requested "Oceans" - was told by Ed he would get it - but didn't (he got something much better - Ed talked to him during the concert - and he was still wearing his Team Sweden Jersey)
The pre-party was a blast. I was so nice to put some faces to the names (or handles in this case).
Wife and I hung out pre-concert with Aussie357 and his lady - they made the hole day even more enjoyable. Have a great time at Wrigley buddy.
And finally - the best part - which even my wife commented on - how nice all the people we met were. All the people we ran across wearing PJ stuff - great folks - and most of them....10Clubbers.
This was a night I will never forget.

What a clusterF Wrigley is turning out to be - considering the lenght of lines and lack of merch. Why sell merch outside - the general public is going to buy it all and ebay it!

Wow, you are too good of a fan and friend! I will try to reciprocate for Philly 1 (the only show I am going to so far).
Buffalo is still very far from me LOL.
I feel bad for the merch freaks in Chicago. Currently my bride and I are sitting ourselves (at least with A/C) in an airport for the next 6-8 hours with flight delays and we miss our connecting flight to Philly). 10 year wedding anniversary celebration not ending with much fun...
