Hi everyone. I'm hosting the Wishlist Foundation preparty at Kells and wanted to make you aware of a really fantastic donation I received today from Emek.



This is an artist's proof on foil paper of the Eddie Vedder Sydney State Theatre show from 2011. It's signed and doodled by Emek.

Those beautiful highlights you're seeing is the silver of the paper shining through. It's absolutely amazing.

He also donated several other signed, numbered, and/or artist's proof posters some of which you can see here. What a generous guy.

I would check out the food carts. If you like fish and chips, The Frying Scotsman is amazing! It is at SW 9th and Alder, not too far from your hotel. The guys that runs it is actually from Scotland, so he knows how to do it right. If not, there are a lot of other food carts and restaurants in the vicinity.
I like SW Burnside between 10th and 13th as well; There is Powell's, the largest independent bookstore, music millenium and Mcmenamins brewpubs.

So freaking excited. Skipping Thanksgiving with my family so my wife and I can travel to Portland tomorrow! Can't wait to see the Northwest for the first time!
