Hartford was very loud. I'd love to hear people's opinions on how they thought it compared to Philly 1. I thought these were the two loudest shows out of the ones I was at.
Agreed. Of the shows I was at, here's my "volume ranking": Hartford, Philly 1, Brooklyn 2, Brooklyn 1, Philly 2.

I'd say that's pretty spot on. I would rank them the same.
My first Hartford show...are they really all like this HOLY CRAP it was amazing!!
They are almost always amazing. But you definitely got spoiled for show #1.
Wow. I can't believe that was your first Hartford show GC! You certainly did get spoiled! Not gonna miss the next one are ya now?
Ive been thinking, and setlists/song choices aside, I feel like they try to out do themselves energy-wise each time they return. I missed the early years. 06 was my first Hartford show and it was ok (compared to all the shows I'd seen before it)... shitty weather, first trip back to hartford after all the bullshit in the 96 & 98 shows maybe putting them on edge, lots of factors in my day put that show toward the bottom of my list. 2008 aka sweatfest was fucking crazy! the energy was so high, the band was on fire... real high up there on my list of shows. 2010, being inside that arena, it was more energy than I had ever experienced, and I thought hartford 08 was the top. then this year... its like the crowd was in on it too. we went in there on a mission to out do ourselves from the last tour and we did. we fucking nailed it. setlist aside, the energy in there was crazy. im still not sure how i rank these hartford shows - 08, 10 and 12 against each other. im still in a fog. but for the energy and really feeling like you were a part of this giant united group of awesome people... 2013 i think takes the cake.

Sweatfest was #1 for me from the Hartford shows I've been to. I know this one is still fresh and we are a few days out from it, but I think 2013 has overtaken that spot for me. Crowd-wise, definitely. Set-wise, 2008 may have the tiniest advantage over 2013, but tough to argue when a set has Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns. I just can't wait for this bootleg to be available. I truly hope they do the crowd justice on it to hear how energetic we were. Did anyone else hear Eddie before the "We're all still alive!" line say, "This is fucking unbelievable!"? He also commented earlier, saying, "This is not normal."
I also wouldn't mind a DVD/Blu-ray release of this show.

Yeah. I thought Philly 1 was insane; then we went to Hartford.

Anyone have anymore pics of people in the pit? I found myself in many Brooklyn shots but still haven't placed myself in the Hartford crowd. Thanks!
Were you there early? I took a video about 15 minutes before showtime that panned the whole building, and zoomed on the pit.
I'm middle of pit. Definitely there 15 minutes before the show. Actually at about that time I was pissed that they turned the lights on and off twice .

Just posted this in another thread. Thought I would share it here as well. From behind the stage.

From the last verse of Alive and the last chorus, when he just let the crowd sing.

I definitely saw that sign at Philly 2
