Sure... warm enough to be jumping around at a rock concert.
Heard of the ice bowl? October in Wisconsin? Now that was too cold for an outdoor show, but I dont think we get that cold here in October.
The October storm of 2011 had coldness to it, especially with no power for 8 days.

I remember that storm well! My son born on the 22nd, my birthday is the 24th, the day we left the hospital & less than a week later we were out of our house because we lost power...for about a week! My son has been through that & the 2012 super storm that killed us with rain! Also a huge snow storm almost a year (10-2012) ...

  We may bitch about the weather, but it's home for us. I hated that October 2011 storm. Once it became dark, there was nothing to do. I would go to sleep at 9 and wake up at 3. I was layered in clothing when I went to bed. We got lucky with Sandy, just rain and wind, but no damage. This past February's blizzard was nuts! When I stepped outside that Saturday morning to start cleaning it, it went up past my knee.

Like you said: I love New England!

For those that are staying at the Hilton (that connects to the XL Center), what types of rates are you finding? I need to pull the trigger soon but I'm trying to find a reasonable rate.

Just got 146 for the Hilton. Can't beat that. For shows that are fairly close, I will usually drive home. But 3+ hours is pushing it. The fact that we can just walk upstairs, cross the skywalk, and be to our room is very nice.

I got about $47 a night (my house, 13 miles away)

Halloween storm was creepy at night....I was by myself in my house, pitch black, no heat, and all I heard was trees falling and branches snapping outside. It felt like I was in the Shining...lol....Swore I was going to buy a generator in case we get it again then a couple weeks passed and was like f*it , I don't need one.

Mine was 151 plus tax but it is up on the club floor so it should be fun. I waived the right to cancel the room and saved some money. Figuring this was a done deal!

Sounds about right. I remember it was particularly warm last October when I saw Springsteen at the Civic Center.

They've already started. Heard yesterday and today after 3:25 to listen and try to win tickets again. If I remember how they did it for Eddie's show back in 2011, you had to call in the instant a PJ song started. Not sure if they're doing it like that again.

if anybody in GA gets an extra pick, any chance you can send it my way? Wife wants to make some type of memento of this show for our little one on the way (she'll be 7 months along come show time so we went reserved seats, not GA). If so, thanks for the help. Thinking framing it with poster (if it's not dark) or with the baby's PJ onesie that we will need to get

The tour page has the on sale date back at the 27th, but still listed as Comcasttix.com. XL Center has Ticketmaster listed, but it's not on Ticketmaster's website. This is going to be fun!
