Anyone know how much the capacity for Pearl jam's show will be? Some one posted on Bugs that for another concert there was only the floor and the first level off the floor, estimated at 2300 seats. It'd be pretty sweet if this ends up being a relatively small gig.

I am in fact British but have lived here in Japan for over 29 years !!So this will be a family visit too,But I have always told them that when PJ are on tour then I shall travel too!!!!!!! I am so excited I wish there had been more UK shows ,I am only making it to bern this time ,But am hoping for more Uk shows or japanese shows very soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We're arriving in Bern around 6 oclock, so will probably start queueing at half past. our tickets say standing on them, so i assume the whole show is??

I bought my train ticket today and will be arriving in Bern at noon on Wednesday from Stuttgart. I would love to see the city and take pictures of stuff. How will we all meet up at hotel(s) and bars? How will we know who is who?

i will arrive in bern at 13:00 with my mad season t-shirt. according to the 10c mail we can pick up our tickets at 15hrs and enter to the venue 15 minutes before door opens to the public.
if somebody is meeting for drinks and warm up since 13hrs let me know.

If I remember right, you are from Portland and staying at Martha-Haus? We are also from Portand, in Munich right now. You can recognize us..we´re both 28 and my girlfriend has long red hair. We would like to hang out and have a few before the show. I think we are getting into town around 2 30pm or 3pm. Hope to see you there!

there is this irish bar close to the train station. it is called mr. pickwick. Wallgasse 3011 Bern 031 - 311 28 62. i have never been there, so i don't know how good it is. that might be a good starting place.
i am thinking of grabbing my first beer there, lets say, noon?

I am online and posting from the Martha Haus. I would like to also see the city, but will be stopping into this Irish Bar the others are talking about that is near the train station. I am wearing a grey button up shirt, khaki shorts and have a Stickman tattoo on my left calf. Hopefully we will all be able to meet somehow. I plan on getting to the Arena at 5:30 or so.
