maybe Jay Z will coax the guys to play Barclays? I'd like to see them play MSG.
What does Jay-Z have to do with the Barclays?

He originally had part ownership in the Nets when they moved to Brooklyn but he recently sold his share so he can become a sports agent.

Time Warner arena would be a good spot

Would love to see a PJ show at Time Warner. Verizon Wireless is alright, pretty standard. Parking (out especially) can be bad, but otherwise its not a bad place to see a show, doesn't sound bad.

:lol: Ok, I'll stop sulking. Any birthday show would be a gift! And I do like Barclays. Just that MSG is within stumbling distance to my apartment and it would have been perfect.

 I agree would so prefer MSG for ease of commute. I haven't a clue how to get to Brooklyn but I suspect I'll figure it out.
Haha, as a chronic complainer about having to trek to the BK, it's actually very easy to get to Barclays :) All the major subway lines stop right there. Atlantic-Pacific stop: http://www.barclayscenter.com/getting-here

I was at the Barclays back in February to see a Mumford and Sons show and the place was really cool. I would prefer to see PJ too at MSG but I would take Barclays as a second choice. You're right it is a bit further to get too but I would make the trip again to see them there! Fingers crossed....

    Yea, same with me.

I HOPE they play at MSG too.

MAYBE the shows will be in Newark instead?

I'll take Newark again in a second! I can be there in 20 minutes and I like drinking in the Ice bar :)

Come on, guys! it is just one subway ride away! =D
I am considering taking 3 flights, one of those a good 11hour haul, just to see them at that amazing acoustic the Barclay's Center has!
Prudential Center would also work, though, flying to Newark and just taking a short train ride. The levels of comfort in the higher seats are not to be comparable, though... Barclays' kills almost every other Arena I've been to!

Lets not dick around...make these shows all GA. If they can do it in S.A. they can do it here. :D

I'm not a fan of ga. Have to get there at dawn to get a spot you could have just had with your ten club seat.

Having been in lots of the S.A. appearances I would gladly kneel down and humbly ask for some seating seats AT LEAST in America, PLEASE!

I say don't mess with the system that has been working so well (unlike in S.A. , in my opinion). And although I love to be close to the stage (G.A.), not being too tall is a hard issue to solve in many cases. I'd always pay for any place to stand or seat 10 inches higher than the general admission floor and I'd love the promoters worldwide to think of that.

New album "Tides" to be released on 10/8...

Shows that have been rumored (some w/ dates)...

    Pittsburgh 10/11
    Buffalo 10/12
    Albany
    Hartford
    Brooklyn 10/18 & 10/19
    Philly 10/21
    Charlotte
    New Orleans 11/1

i assume boston has to be in the mix... i wonder what is between philly and new orleans? headed south i would assume? they like to throw DC in there normally and they have a large arena that works for a fall tour so i would guess that could be a possible stop...

    what else do we have?

Also saw a rumored Dallas date of 11/15 and Seattle Dec 6th and 7th. The rumor I saw had Boston on the 12th, not Buffalo :corn:

Now that Dallas in november 15th shot is one I'd love to see happening.
Last year I decided to attend the Austin Formula 1 Grand Prix and it was great news the organizers announced an Aerosmith concert downtown Austin the same weekend. They race promoters haven't announced anyone yet for the 2013 race, but for sure there will be someone big playing there.
PJ at Dallas on 15th and Austin on 16th, for instance, to complete the racing weekend, would be a dream!
Fingers, arms, legs, lungs and veins totally crossed for this!

I really really think gaslight is opening these shows in October.

And I also think we will get the tweet next Friday. Announcement the following Tuesday 7/9 which would line up with the July 10th newsletter the next day. Then the single the next week day of the London show.

The Philly 09 shows were announced similarly July 4th weekend

    Sense. You speak it.

So Boston is a guarantee? Tides is a cool album name and it makes sense Seattle Surf Company and Eddies overall love affair with the ocean. If all is true then its getting close. EXCITING!!!!!

Yep! And I hear they did extended versions of Big Wave and Amongst The Waves. And ole. That's the entire album. The whole mind your manners thing refers to Kat and this board when it's released not an actual song on the album.
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.

Not Ole. Not Of The Earth. Not Mind Your Manners.

Wasn't there another song title that was kicked around 1-2 months ago, yet seems to have gone totally AWOL??

buffalo I went in 2006 great show missed 2010 cause not in the area, but buffalo imo does not deserve another show this year, vegas has no show since 2006, buffalo is not a huge market, it just seels out cause people from Toronto go there, if they gonna play that area, pj mine as well just go play Toronto.

id love to see them do another state college pa show if they gonna play the east coast in that area, or atlantic city. please do a west coast tour, im from the east coast, but I travel a lot pj ignores the west and south way more than the east coast, I know ny city philly maybe is pj main market, but damn the west coast southwest has 50 million people, what about some la, vegas, phoenix, Colorado shows. vegas no show since 06 is pathetic, pj said that night they be back soon lol, ya right 7 years + and vegas is one of the entertainment capitals of the world lol.

Brooklyn is really inconvenient to get to and is scary and Barclay's Center is terrible. Everybody should probably make it their 3rd choice preference, if at all. ;-)

They did not play in Buffalo in 2006. You mean 2003?

While Buffalo may be a once in every 6 years type of stop... Im not sure they/we dont "deserve" a show. While Buffalo the city is small. The suburbs are pretty large and there is a nice venue that services people in Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo, Northern PA, and Southern Ontario. They like to play in Toronto, but seem to prefer the Molson Amphitheatre, which will be cold in October.

Buffalo is a good US / Midwest stop. I went to both Cleveland and Buffalo shows in 2010. Cleveland had empty seats and nothing behind the stage. Crowd was pretty tame. (Great show though).
In Buffalo it was sold out to the rafters and very rabid. A lot of that is the Canadians that come down (shows in Buffalo and Canada are the only ones I have seen with sustained cheering/yelling throughout encore breaks).

I would be very pumped for a Buffalo show, as I have numerous PJ Virgins who are looking forward to going

I agree and I was at the same show. Couldn't find it easier all along!
Also, loved the acoustic at the Barclays Center!
Unfortunately, the MSG will not be available, this is more than good enough, I guess!
