    You gave some pretty good hints. I've never seen the movie but I remember clips of it in a film class I took in college.

    Kung Fu Hustle!

    Holy shit! I remember watching it for the first time. I was at a pool hall in Chinatown that was breaking some laws and showing a bootleg DVD of the film (which had just opened in theatres) on its TV screens. My pool game was off because the movie was too distracting in its awesomeness.
