this is great news, as every MOV release I have sounds incredible, even more incredible than that word is supposed to mean

I just paid $90 for a second band Road Apples, but I will still pick this up at some time

I so wish though that Phantom Power gets the vinyl treatment one day, I love that record

Excellent news. Here's hoping they reissue Day for Night, Trouble at the Henhouse, and Phantom Power as well.
"I try my best to chug, stomp, weep, whisper, moan, wheeze, scat, blurt, rage, whine, and seduce. With my voice I can sound like a girl, the boogieman, a Theremin, a cherry bomb, a clown, a doctor, a murderer. I can be tribal. Ironic. Or disturbed. My voice is really my instrument."

Can I preorder this directly through MOV or do I have to go elsewhere??

You'll have to go elsewhere, they don't sell direct.
I preordered mine on amazon.ca was 31$ with free shipping.
I'm sure soundstagedirect has it. They get all the MOV stuff.

I preordered Road Apples from Amazon.ca way back in June, I got an email early July that my order was delayed and they were still trying to obtain it. In the meantime I ordered it from a seller who uses amazon. It arrived today and is spinning right now!

I just checked my email...there is a shipping notice from the 1st one I preordered.

my Up To Here reissue arrived today. Again, sounds fantastic. So happy with the audio on the MOV pressings. "Opiated" will be spinning on my turntable repeatedly for the next few days :-)

Asked them about this last night. They said they currently have no plans to press any more titles but that anything could happen in the future. Start emailing them your requests ;)

Don't forget Fully Completely. I have to say that if they were to reissue Day for Night they would need to remaster it. That is one of my favorite albums but it sounds AWFUL!

I totally agree. Day For Night is quite muffled and hard to hear some parts, they need to remix this album like they did on the Greatest Hits on "At The Hundredth Meridian" and "Fully Completely"...both those songs sound so much better remixed!

I'm totally with you on this my friend. PP is a bitchin' album and would really sound good on vinyl imo.

I just picked up Fully today but haven't spun yet. I really hope they addressed the thinness of the bottom end that existed on the previous cd's and vinyl discs. It really needed a boost imo and hope this "remastering" addressed it. I also picked up the ltd, deluxe Fully Completely set but may keep that sealed, unless I get sick of watching heksenketel on VHS. AND I got a couple bottles of the Fully Completely Wine :>

  • Well, I just gave 'er a listen and.....I'm very disappointed. I hear nothing really different from the original. The kick drum and bass are still totally lacking in the mix, even if you crank your bass frequencies. This album could kick so much harder if the bottom end were better mixed imo ~X(

This is good news. Day For Night & Henhouse were never double albums - right? It looks like Day For Night is now double and Henhouse is 3 sides.

You're right, Day for Night was never a double LP. I have the original, but am curious to hear reviews about the sound on the reissue when people get it. 4 sides for D4N is too many and not necessary. They should have done both albums on 3 sides if they were set on 2LPs.
