I'm a professional actor myself!!!!!! I hope you all read this because I'm not a heartless bastard and I have a personal affection for Gandolfini. He was a good man by all accounts and his death is a tragedy.
I was a little drunk when I wrote that post so I can see where the confusion came from but I hope that clears it up.
No worries dude, you are allowed to feel however you want to feel. I was only commenting on the note on feeling offended by the show & it's portrayal of Italian Americans. A debate for another day and another time but you are certainly fine in expressing your feelings on the show. I didnt figure you were poking at the death of a man, that would be coooooolllld.

I am getting there the Friday before for a conference. My wife is coming in from TPA on Wednesday and I am meeting her at the airport and then we are heading to 6 Flags for some roller coaster fun. Thursday we are doing the hop-on-hop off tour so we can get a tour of the whole city and decide what we want to do with the rest of our time Thursday, Friday before the show and Saturday before we leave. I know we'll definitley hit the pier, the art institute and will likely visit the ledge since my wife is afraid of heights.
Oh Yeah my buddy is coming up to crash in my hotel while I am at my conference and on Sat the 13th we have tickets to see the Cubbies versus the Cardinals.

I fly in Thursday night staying at the Holiday Inn near Cumberland since Bar Louie is attached to it =D
Friday my roommate and I are gonna head up to our hotel in the loop and then off to Wrigleyville and the Sheffield Garden early and lube up. Then showtime and drunkness after the show
Saturday get some Giordano's for lunch and head to the White Sox game at 3:05. After the game either bar hop near the Damen/Division subway stops or back to Wrigley.
Sunday is tourist day....check into our new hotel (the Sofitel?, supposed to be baller) then hit up Navy Pier and Harry Carry's, Magnificent Mile, museums, landmarks, etc

Girlfriend and I are taking the Amtrak train from Springfield, IL up to Chicago early that friday morning. Spending the day walking around, going to museums, probably head out to eat and hit the bars. Then hitting the stadium early and enjoying the epic night from that point forwards!!!!!

working business hours on Monday the 15th. Likely setting forth on the 12+ hour drive around midnight with plans to arrive in Chicago for the early afternoon. I29 / 94/ 90... Travelling with my Pops... Hard of hearing so will sleep while i drive and groove to XM 22!
Have a three bedroom apartment rented close to Wrigley. Bro, my great sis-in-law and two nieces fly in from Seattle and arrive at 11PM on Tue evening. Chill day on Wed... check out the neighbourhood, have some drinks... make a meal at "HOME" and catch up with my family. Longman and Eagle for a few whiskey nightcaps.
Six flags Thur. with family. Relax with a coffee and paper early Friday am. Hit up Wrigleyville with bro and take in the festivities starting noonish. Pace ourselves.. enjoy an epic show (blessed to have GA) then get silly drunk and make some new PJ friends.
Tourist stuff Saturday (likely Millennium park / Field / Hancock). Family meal out at a decent steak house. Saturday firework show. Relax Sunday (Drinks on a patio/ beach/ picnic. zoo?). Monday drive back through Iowa and take my time as dont work till Saturday! Anyone ever hit up the American Picker's shop in LeClaire?? worth a stop? Don't ask... I have a weakness for some "reality TV" :oops: Stop overnight in Des Moines (anything to see??)or Omaha / Council Bluffs (Poker session!!!) before heading north back to WPG.IF NOTHING IS EVERYTHING, I'LL HAVE IT ALL.

fly in monday 8am....early check in at the hyatt on wacker....get situated prance around town then dinner reservations at joes seafood and prime rib then head back to the bar at the hotel and meeetup with jammers. Friday get some breakfast then head over to get ten club tix and head over to the pre parties. Sat sleep in and then prance around town again then eating at Lou Malnattis for some deep dish pizza then who knows sat night...fly home on sunday. 0
