Amazing, thanks Dimi! I'll throw my name in! I do have a 10c ticket, but GA at this show would make my life, and i know my lower/field ticket would go to another 10c member if I ended up with GA.
I am dying for them to play In My Tree and/or Rats. Hope I get at least one of them.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata
You're the best, my friend!! We aren't going (unless we win airfare in that other contest), so please keep me out of the drawing. Best of luck to you all!! Enjoy the hell out of the show!!!
Wow, you are the nicest person ever!! I don't have a ticket but sure would love to go. I haven't seen PJ since 1995, and would be sooooo happy to hear The Fixer live!
Thank you for the opportunity!
If I knew where it was, I would take you there....
What an awesome gesture D! Super cool of you! I would LOVE to hear Dirty Frank, Leavin' Here (even though it's a cover), and Save You at Wrigley! BTW, I have lower bowl that I would freely give away for a chance at GA.
Here's my story....
I've been a fan since I was 13 years old and my dad came back from the Unicorn club in Houston, TX with a tape for me. Just like many of you, Pearl Jam has carried me through some very difficult times but due to my health circumstances I was never well enough to see a show GA. The first time I tried, after my first heart surgery, I was carted away 4 songs in to the set due to a cardiac arrhythmia. I did get to listen to Jeff's base line from the medical tent so it was not a complete loss. I knew what they were playing based on his heart beat...that was enough for me. Flash forward, countless procedures and an open heart surgery later and I'm cleared completely! I got to see them in Missoula last year for the very first time (that is a GREAT story too if you have time I'll tell you some time) and it was amazing....but it was seated. Now that I'm well enough to do it I can not begin to explain how badly I want to. It's kind of like that thing where you are finally able but not able at the same time! URGH! Don't get me wrong...seeing them at all is good enough for me but seeing them GA would change my life and scratch it off my bucket list!
So that's that...please consider this an entry to the drawing! GOOD LUCK JAMMERS!
That's nice of you. I am hoping to hear Mother. A song from my second favorite band. Or Leash, the only song I haven't seen live from Vs. I have a flight but no tickets yet. I would be happy to have one ticket then my wife will have to find one for herself (I would probably help her find one unless I got the GA ticket. I might be so excited I would forget.)
I'd like to hear immortality... they played it on soundcheck in Costa Rica but it didnt make it to the show...or Baba...they had to cut it from the setlist due to time restrictions...
12-09-05 Mexico City
11-20-11 San Jose, Costa Rica
thanks it is so kind of you. I would love them to sing with their minds and hearts `No more war`.
Hearing any of their songs would make me happy since it has been too long I have seen them live. `Amongst the waves` would make me wear the shiniest `Smile`
Living is no laughing matter: you must live with great seriousness like a squirrel for example - I mean without looking for something beyond and above living, I mean living must be your whole occupation.

They MUST open with RELEASE!! It's guaranteed to be one of the BEST shows you'll ever see! I'm from Boston and don't miss I show in this area when they tour! 17 times and counting!!! Pick me and I'll give you an autographed Eddie Vedder CD I have! It's one of my most prized possessions, after my SIGNED TEN VINYL! (everyone BUT EV has signed it!) For years, I have asked Theo Epstein in person when is PEARL JAM playing FENWAY! He never got it to happened, but now that Theo's with the Cubs...this makes Wrigley 2 and Fenway 0!
dimitris you are awesome! i wish more fans were like you, pj is all about peace and love, and these forums are always filled with so much negativity, thank you for posting something positive and uplifting and for hopefully making one of us lucky fans have the opportunity to get something we all would love to have as fans, you rock!

I know you'll make some lucky fan very happy and that in turn will make you very happy... See you next year...

Dimitri-
Thanks for this opportunity. before October 21, 2011, I could not have told you a single song that PJ sang. I am a bit older. That day, I saw PJ20 on American Masters on PBS. I felt so connected to the music. I watched the movie about 45 times in a year and a half. I have become a huge fan. I got tickets in the Lottery for EV's solo tour. I had booked a flight to Vegas (I live in Cleveland) and a room. I was meeting a friend from Chicago. Five days before the show Eddie canceled. It cost me a boatload of money, as I did not want to cancel plans with my friend.
My husband died of cancer in 2009. I was deeply depressed, and PJ was my salvation. I love them like the other fans on this site, but am probably one of few who have NEVER seen them.
Your consideration will be greatly appreciated :!:
