Let's see some pics people! I know who has 175/175, so does anyone here have 179/179?
I'm guess that for the ones that appear to be of a run of 179 that the '9' is actaully a 5. How often does a print run end with a 9?
Here ya go:
 WOW!!! I can't wait to hear what Brad responds with.
And I hope your pocket knife doesn't scratch the print! Is that a Kershaw?
It was the closest thing handy to hold it down Not anything special, just one of these from a number of years ago that I use to open packages, too bulky to carry around for an every day knife:
"Populated with every reject and cutthroat from Bombay to Calcutta. It's worse than Detroit."
Here is the very quick response that Brad sent to me!

Hi Brian
It's numbered out of 179... not sure if someone misread a 9 as a 5 or if I messed up and wrote 175 by accident... when you are signing and numbering prints, it's very tedious and boring and you are continually writing the same numbers over and over and sometimes you jumble things in your head and can write the wrong number... but the run is out of 179.
I had ordered 160 to be print but with every poster printed there are always extras just due to the nature of the screen printing process... the printers will print a little more then normal because sometimes throughout the printing process things get out of registration or a print gets damaged or it's summer and the paper and screens warp and move based on the temperature or it messes with the consistency of the ink...you can't say ok the order is for 160 and then only set aside 160 sheets of paper and hope they all turn out perfect because every print run has some issue or x amount of prints that don't print exactly right. I needed to get this poster sold and put up the sale before I counted how many I actually had, I new I had at least 160 with some amount of extras, so I just said the run was 160 in the email and figured once I sat down to number the mall I could see how many I actually had. Depending on how the printing process goes, sometimes it goes smoothly and there aren't any issues and you get a little more then you ordered and sometimes there are a lot of issues and you barely get the amount you ordered.
Usually I'll try and count all the posters before a sale so I can adjust for the extras... but sometimes I am in a hurry and need to have a sale and make some mortgage and food money so I just put the sale up with the run being what I ordered (in this case 160) before I have sat down and numbered everything to see exactly how many extras there are. It's a bad habit.
Thanks for checking into that, Brian. Odd that the run ended in 9 but we now understand how it happend and in the end I don't care because the print itself is great.
I swore mine was out of 179 too when I took it out of the tube yesterday..now I'm going to go home and look closer.. 175 would make more sense...and if he keeps 15 to "archive", then the run of 160 makes sense.
Did anyone purchase one of these s/n versions from BK & one from the exhibition versions @ the Italy exhibition? The only difference is the paper it's printed on, right?

Love getting a poster and noticing something that I didn't see. Never saw that there's a lyric from "Black" on the typewriter.
"All five horizons revolved around her soul..."
