    I got an email from them saying that they now want to add $6 to my bill for extra international shipping, on top of the $4 or $5 or whatever it was when I paid them. :? Can they do that?? Did anyone else get this email?

    That's bullshit. They should do the right thing; fix their pricing for the future but honor the deal and eat the cost on this one. I'd write an email to the highest-up you can and I bet they'll wave the fee. It's not much money but it's the principle.

    Yes, that's what I thought. I did email them telling them that I'm not cool with being charged more after the fact, and that I expect the item to be delivered at the price that I already paid for in good faith. I'm a little shocked that actually pulled this.... to the point that I'm wondering if somehow their records weren't hacked and this is a phishing email or something. :?     I got the email too.

    I was surprised. The ordering website didn't seem very sophisticated at all, and it didn't seem setup to charge different shipping rates. Which as a Canadian, seems very ghetto, because everyone charges more to ship to Canada (except maybe the 10c as of late :) ).

    I was going to pay it... now I'm having second thoughts.

    I agree its not cool to change the price after is been paid for. I had that happen to me once on ebay. Someone told me they did put the right shipping rate on ebay and wanted me to pay more. I told them I wouldn't have ordered it had i known the total cost was going to be that high. They gave me a hard time, I was willing to go to dispute, then they shipped it.

    I'm not sure why I let this one slide... maybe because most PJ related records aren't 20 bux, or because I fully realized 4 bux wasn't enough to cover shipping to Canada.

    Well, I want the thing, so if they insist unfortunately I'm going to pay it... but perhaps they will back off if you say that you're not cool with it like October22 said. Can't hurt anyway. I'll let you know if they respond to me.
