The "you get what you pay for" credo holds up when it comes to gelato.

Yum. :) Now I want some. There is an amazing place near me - I feel like a scoop of Ferrero Rochet with a scoop of pistachio. Mmmmm. Too bad I'm not going there. :(

Even $6 seems like a good deal to a Canadian. :x People actually drive across the border just for cheap dairy products. :fp:

you gotta tell me this place! Next time I'm in Canada, I'm going to get a Ferrero Rocher ice cream! One time I went into the 7-11 (it was called something else, had the same colors), and got a ginger ale slurpee...GINGER ALE SLURPEE, that really made my day.

Ginger Ale slurpee! That sounds awesome! I'm happy enough when I just see a Sprite one!
The place is on Denman near English Bay, but I can't remember the actual name of the place.... so the Gelato place by English Bay. :) They also sometimes have it at one of the gelato places on Commercial Drive. Yum.
