    Ha! Happened to me too, in Berlin 2012 :) And he winked at me at the end! :D Few minutes later he started to "stare" at me again, I smiled and showed him the "I am watching you" sign, he laughed :) I love that memory.

    I don't post a lot on here, but I logged in just because I believe this thread is going to go on for hundreds of pages.

    This thread is right up there with the "Pearl Jam with Cats" thread as far as I'm concerned (which I thoroughly enjoyed!)

    BTW, I've only ever been on Stone's side. Now I am curious to be over on Mike's side someday to observe this phenomenon.

    For my very first show, i was just in front of Ed and during the concert I moved to the Mike's side...I didn't know his habits ! He pointed his finger near me with his very serious face, still concentrated .. I was like : Oops i did nothing wrong....it's not me !!! and at the end of the song (it was RVM), he broke his guitar like a fool...I would like to say to him : don't break it ! give it to me if you don't want it !!! well...good memories !

    I got in Leeds. I needed it too, after being thrashed around in-between Jeff and Ed about 3 back from the rail for about an hour and a half. An diagonal alley opened up and it was just me and Mikey.
    It was a definite stare, no doubt about it, so I acknowledged it by pointing right back at him and nodding. He just kept on staring and shredding. It was pretty amazing.

    You know I made a t-shirt of the McCready Stare and wore it to Disney World. I almost got arrested because so many people got injured. I had to agree to turn the shirt inside out and then burn the shirt when I got home.

    I have two shows in GA (Miami and Jax).

    I was going to start training but I think I'm just gonna hang in the back of GA.

    Do you think it's safer back there?

    In Trieste the guy in front of me got the point, the stare, and the vertical neck. I was sunburned for a week and my head felt like a balloon on a very long string. The string is shorter now.
