Wow. So many great moments during this show but this was something else. Hoosiers, you randomly walked past me dyring the show and I recognized you from the video tribute. It was great to run into you after it was played. If you remember, I was sitting right along third base line and stopped you to say hello and ask if you were "Hoosiers". Such an amazing moment when this was dedicated and played for Sarah last night. Much love.

    Completely agree.
I admit that after reading this post I was really hoping they would play this song for your wife. When Ed started talking about your story I told my wife about it and she immediately began to tear up. It's the moments like this that make this band so special to me. Again, sorry for your loss but hopefully the boys playing Come Back helped you in some small way.

Wow. I'm speechless still. You guys on here made it happen. If nobody would have bumped this thread multiple times, the band wouldn't have seen it. So I thank you as much as I thank PJ

I was numb the whole time. No emotion, no singing along. My buddy grabbed me and hugged me but I stayed stone-faced. By the very end I had tears. I just can't believe they did it for me and told my wife's story. It will always be accessible as I know someone recorded it..forever.

My phone blew up to the point the battery died. Just got back to hotel now, which is why it took so long to reply.

What a night. Greatest band of all time and I and my dear late wife are proof why.

    Wow.

I was right up front and saw the emotion on Eddie's face as he sang your song to your wife. What a beautiful tribute. Virtually hugging you right now.

I am so happy to hear that you got Come Back played for your wife. I'm sure it made you extremely happy and extremely sad at the same time. It's a beautiful tribute. The band is just the best for doing such a thing for you, and the rest of us.

May her memories and the memory of this special tribute bring you peace now and forever. Hugs.

I remember you, thanks for taking the time to seek me out and wishing me well. You were one of two who recognized me from the video tribute. The @cometotheporch Twitter guy didn't believe me (I think) when I told him it was for me.

By the way, Eddie did say Andy instead of Adam, but that's ok. I was just hoping for the song, not for him to mention the story. I am just honored he got word of the story (or, I'd like to think, watched the video). I hope Eddie knows how much that song means to me now. And with the dedication from him, it will always have more meaning to me.

It's so awesome that my wife will live on forever (with audio of it) and how she is still bringing me joy 10 weeks after she died. She would never believe how many lives she has touched. I will never let her memory die.
