The kidnappers aren't even white, but that's really neither here nor there.
The whole issue of radical Islam has ZERO relation to a situation like this, and to compare the two in ANY way at all makes no sense whatsoever. None.
I think it does.. there are scores of bad American's doing really bad stuff. As American's we have the ability to see that these people are bad and not like us
in the same way the people from the nations of the middle east do bad things. But our culture and media link them together as thought it is a charactor flaw or related to their religion. It is simple racism.. a negative generalization that prevents understanding and breeds hate. We allow it in the name of free speech, when it should be treated as hate speech..

You are ignoring so many things. You're ignoring the religious aspects of Islam, the politics of Islam and America, attacks by extremist Muslims are organized by organized groups of many, many people with defined goals and shared religious beliefs, the fact that the media and Americans are constantly calling to attention that it is extremists and not moderate Muslims who want to destroy American, etc etc etc etc etc etc. Because of all of these complicated factors, these two issues have NOTHING to do with one another. Crimes like this kidnapping and serial killings and stuff like that are committed by one or a very few individuals. That has nothing to do with larger cultural or religious beliefs shared by many people. Therefore, there is no reason for stereotypes to gain any traction.

American's do all of that too.. we were very organized as we demonized and assaulted the helpless nation of Iraq. There are at least a relatively equal number of bad things done by American's an any other culture. It is not about the race or religion. Human Nature often leads to bad things.. we gloss over our own faults and magnify those of others... which just breeds more bad stuff. One day maybe we will learn we are all human and be tolerant and understanding of each other and willing to work together.. be accountable and responsible and not so insecure and vengeful and childish. There is so much help we could get from within the Muslim community if we would only respect them, and work with them...

Okay, there you go. Now you're making sense (kind of). How much of the world hates America because of the Iraq war? All of it, give or take? Now that is a good comparison. But using 3 Hispanic perverts (and calling them white) as a comparison to the stereotyping of Muslims because of Islamic extremists just makes no sense. However, your point remains moot, since Americans HAVE in fact been vilified/stereotyped for the Iraq war (and many Americans themselves are on that bandwagon). They have not been ignored for such deeds at all.

its the little things that are said every day about every little thing that made and makes things like Iraq possible out of people that consider themselves humane and intelligent
