    You're right, I don't. Just frustrated from the numerous times I have heard bad things done by folks hailing from the billions of middle easterners being attributed to their religion or some other flaw related to their people. Yet when Americans behave badly, it is isolated because somehow we are exceptional.

    I hear you, just thought this is jumping the gun some. These girls haven't even been free for 24 hours!

    For the record, a scumbag/piece of shit/kidnapper/rapist/fill in the blank, is just that. Their nationality isn't an "aha!" moment for me, and I hope for most.

    thats funny, they looked white to me.. guess they are Hispanic.. of course it doesn't matter.. people do bad things. it is so damaging and unproductive to associate it to their heritage.. just breeds hate. Guess I failed at making my point

    nah, just a regular white guy. The Bible can be interpreted that way too... but we have heard over and over the "correct" way to interpret the bible, but many in the media choose to interpret the Koran in such a way as suggest it is evil.

    Okay... let's compare these two Religions... Christianity and Islam.
    Both believe in the one God... they share the same God as the Jews, they both just got His name all fucked up.
    Chrisitanity is what... 2000 and something years old... Islam is 1400 years old. So, put them in terms of humans and divide by 100. Christianity is a 20 year old and Islam is a 14 year old.
    Maybe all religions go along the same paths... since they all believe they are the only path, the younger religions step in the same piles of shit as the older religions.
    So, put Islam in the same perspective as Christianity... when Chrisitanity was a 14 (1400) year old.

    That is true, since "Hispanic" does not refer to ethnicity.
    As I recall, the last Census asked "Are you of Hispanic or Latino origin?" then asked with what ethnicity or ethnicities you identified yourself.
