    Like kids always do the right thing. :roll: Kids 'know' they're not supposed to do lots of things because their parents taught them - but they still do. Not to mention little friends visiting.... Or 'sweet little Billy' getting into a real strop and using the gun against his little sister (yep... has been done though I'm not sure his name was Billy), etc.

    I agree five seems too young, but every kid is different. I got my first shotgun in 3rd (maybe 4th?) grade and was more than responsible enough to handle it.

    It's weird how we are hearing about these accidents more & more these days , it's almost like gun nuts wan't to prove to the antigun nuts like myself that they know how to be so responsible with their weapons case in point with this poor child who now will have to carry this burden for the rest of his' living life its a pathetic reflection on our society here in the UNITED STATES ....fuck me .... :(

    i agree the parents should face charges. this wasn't a toy in the guise of a gift they gave their 5 year old....it was a fucking lethal weapon used to kill thier two year old :(

    1. so sorry for this little kid..its really sad
    2."responsible" gun owner.there is no such thing.
    3.lock the parents in jail anf throw the key as an exable for the rest
    4.im so sorry for the 5 year old kid...his life is fucked for ever..i dont know how he will end up..isnt his fault..i guess..he thought is a toy or whatever those idiots parent told him it is..
