Hello all
I just sent some RSD vinyl to some friends in England and almost choked when I saw the prices ... USPS charged 24 bucks for sending the Mad Season and 19 for the Soundgarden demos. I love to help my friends out and also from time to time want to send something to my friends and family in Germany, but with these prices I will hesitate all the time. They must be insane!

Can anyone here recommend a service that is less costly?

I don't have any tenclub package right here now ... Who are they using, that sounds like an awesome price!

that im not sure of but 100pacer once wrote a great reply to a thread about the new pricing, which made a lot of sense, I am sure he could provide the info if you send him a quick PM.

    that's what makes it funny.

    10c shipping rates :fp:

7.52 to ship a record to chicago
7.52 to ship a pair of wristbands to chicago

5 something to ship the same record to the UK

between the shipping places I use. FedEX is the worst.

Last time I got a box from them IT was crushed. opened on all four sides. It looked like they ran it over before they delivered it. It was an engine part for a vintage car, literally made of steel, so the contents thankfully weren't damaged.

    UPS is da best.

    USPS is okayish.
    they are slow.

    I hope this helps?

I shipped some vinyls to England. The shipping cost me more than the contents of the package.

It's sad, but what is fair trade mean these days? I can't trade internationally because of the high cost.
