Dog Collar Arrived

My dog collars arrived today.

mOhMvfX.jpg

I have been blessed to have my best friend as part of my life for the past 15 years.
She came from a shelter...watched my sons.... her boys grow up.
This was the day she came into our lives :D

n7hyeH8l.jpg

This gentle soul loves everyone never leaves the yard and will even walk beside me without a leash.
But she does not like to have her picture taken.

What always stood out to me over the years was how she would come without fail every time she would hear Pearl Jam and still will.

$40 is a lot for a dog collar but this sweet girl has given me unconditional love for 15 years.
If I would spend that on a shirt or poster or hoodie I would certainly spend it on my four legged friend.

Each and everyday I get to spend with her is simply a gift. Her and her little sister.
Life is too short.....enjoy every moment you have.

Over all the buckle is too big for my dogs - they need the 1/2 inch not the inch.

The little one has No Code on but its hard to see. It goes very nicely with her coloring.
They were both very excited about the new collars and looking so pretty and did not want to sit for pictures.

  • Ours arrived today also....I think it's been less than a week. :o
We choose the No Code one, it looks really cool.
Don't even have a dog but my son wants to get one in a few years and didn't want to kick himself for not jumping on it while he could. :)

  • Sweet dogs, I don't know what I would do without my guy. I have surely spent more than $40 on him at the local pet store in one trip. Enjoy the collar and you're companions. I just gave this guy a good pettin'

Here are some better pictures of the collars for anyone who wants to see the size or coloring.
My girls are both wearing the medium. The little one surprisingly could have sized down to a small.

Beautiful pups in this thread. Thank you for posting. Those look much sturdier than they did in the store pics.

I'm almost tempted to buy one and put in on my giant orange cat. The only problem being that he's an indoor cat and has grown up never wearing a collar. It would probably drive him nuts. Which is leaning me towards buying one and trying it :)

What a great thread! Unfortunately, 2 weeks ago today, I had to send along my 15 year old female Standard Poodle to happier places...Her name was "PearlGirl". I am sure you can guess the inspiration for her name.

It was a very, very sad day as she had seen my children grow up and seen our whole family through lots of changes. After reading this thread, $40 seems like nothing to me to join up the joy that pets bring to us to the joy that PJ brings. Only wish I couldve had one to put on PearlGirl before she had to leave us!

See ya'll at Wrigley...and hopefully in the SOUTH!!!

I was tempted to get the collars for my 2 cats but the price plus likely customs charges stops me.
