Let me state the obvious. This should be front page news. When Rush Limbaugh attacked Sandra Fluke, there was non-stop media hysteria. The venerable NBC Nightly News' Brian Williams intoned, "A firestorm of outrage from women after a crude tirade from Rush Limbaugh," as he teased a segment on the brouhaha. Yet, accusations of babies having their heads severed — a major human rights story if there ever was one — doesn't make the cut.
I don't really have much to say on abortion ... I'm fine with how it is (except better regulation and inspections of clinics based on this case) ... but I do find the lack of media coverage odd. A politician says something really stupid related to abortion and he is a pariah in the media. And this story gets nothing?

Dr. Andrew Rutland of California and Dr. Steven Brigham in Maryland had their medical licenses revoked after their late-term abortion mills were exposed. Like Gosnell, Rutland killed an Asian woman after administering a drug overdose during a late-term abortion procedure. Like Gosnell, Brigham stored the bodies of late-term fetuses in freezers.

1. Pro abortion side: this should not happen.
2 anti abortion side: this should not happen.
I feel there has to be a window for the procedure though. Once development of the fetus becomes advanced... I would be inclined to agree with some that suggest this is a little too late for deciding against delivering the child. Some of the aborted fetuses described and depicted in these gruesome pages certainly lend support for this. When an aborted fetus comes out of the womb crying... this is a bit of an issue to say the least.
Bearing resemblance to an underground abortion clinic where procedures are done zealously with coat hangers, this case is a disgusting one. It seems as if the clinic went out of its way to make the place extra horrific.
I mean, the laws does say that if the fetus comes out of the womb crying, and you kill it (or don't try to save it), that's murder. So that's all good. But I think there is plenty of room in the pro-choice platform to insist upon an absolute cut-off for when an optional abortion can be performed (not that this Kermit psycho would have cared about it). It's not an all or nothing issue at all as far as I'm concerned.
i believe the inverse to be true.

Taken from the article you linked above....
Pennsylvania is not alone in developing strategies to regulate abortion care right out of existence. In fact, state legislatures have enacted 135 abortion restrictions in the last two years, according to the Guttmacher Institute.
For readers who feel this doesn't apply to them, mark our words, it does, because it is likely that you know someone who has had an abortion. One in three women will have an abortion by the time she is 45. Between 30 and 40 million women have had abortions since Roe v. Wade was decided in 1973.
History tells us that whether abortion is legal or illegal, women will have abortions - the only difference is whether women live or die. As in the pre-Roe days, women with resources can usually find quality care; but those without resources will often seek out the cheapest possible care. The long-term impact of burdening and stigmatizing abortion care could be that the most vulnerable women will once again have to risk their health and lives to get what should be a completely safe and common medical procedure.
