Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers--Echo (reissue)

That is such a sweet box set!
It sure is & the albums sound fantastic. Worth every penny.
Mine is scheduled to be delivered on Wed. I ordered it from Soundstage and after a week with no movement, I messaged them and they said "Oh, it wasn't in stock so we had to order it. It should be here any day". F* that. Don't sell things not in stock that take you over a week to procure.
So I ordered from Import_cd and it was only $202 with no tax and free shipping.
That's a pretty sweet deal. PJ need to do a box like this. Instant gold mine.

Yeah good stuff, there's just as much decent British music as there is American, arguably more. Lots of good New Zealand and Australian too if you give it a try..

^^^^^This is my only copy of this album. So, I don't have anything to compare it to. I just finished the first time through and it sounds damn amazing! Very quiet vinyl. Awesome channel separation, outstanding vocals and of course, guitar. I even enjoyed the track, The Walk of Life, not one of my personal favorites. If you like Dire Straits, this is a must have! It is 45 rpm, so only two songs per side, except side four, which has three songs. Mark Knopfler is a bad ass! So happy I bought this for my b-day!

It sounds very good for originally being digitally recorded. I do not have the MoFi but most either prefer the MoFi or the RL originals.

I think the originals were Chris Bellman cuts. I want an original, but having to look out for all the bootlegs makes it so hard to purchase one over the internet.. without actually seeing the runout in person.
