Last January... I bought the record clamp off some fella from Hong Kong between $40 - $45.
Brand name: Alchemist Weight: 280 grams Dimensions: 1 1/4 inch (Height) Diameter: 2 1/2 inch (top) 3 inch (bottom) Extras: Spirit level and Strobe (33/45)
It's pretty well made with a shiny black finish and has felt underneath it as in a grip when sitting on the label of the LP. Also has a 4 groove finger grip when picking up and laying down on the label of the record. 2 colors available... black and silver. I chose the black as the nearest match for my turntable but what I should have done is picking the silver instead to match the buttons, tonearm, etc. The downside to this is... it doesn't work with large centers from 45s but I am happy with it so far and I hope the picture here makes it easier with the close up view.
Oh yes... Steel Wheels rule hard... a fantastic record

Try not get a record clamp heavier than 360 grams... less stress on a flat belt.
