What is the farthest you've traveled just for a PJ show

    I live in NYC and have traveled to New Orleans, Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles to see PJ - but I think the furthest I have traveled was the Werchter Festival 2000 in Belgium which was the show after Roskilde - went specifically to see PJ but we all know how that story ended

    Vegas is the furthest for me from MN. Longest drive was to Missoula.

    Drove from Boston to Toronto in '09 and '11 (about 600 miles). Flew from Boston to Alpine and in July will be flying to Chicago (about 1000 or so miles). It definitely depends on the method of travel though. But proud to say Chicago will be show #16 and I've only seen them 3 times in my own state.

    Auckland, New Zealand - Alpine Valley, Wisconsin 2011 = 13,176kms(8,187miles)
    Auckland, New Zealand - Manchester(London in between for a few days) - Amsterdam(Paris in between for a few days) - Berlin - Stockholm - Oslo - Copenhagen 2012 = (just calculating Auckland - Oslo as the farthest away) 17,198kms(10,686 miles)

    Actually it would have been even more than that for Alpine Valley. I was meant to go Akl-Sydney-LA-Milwaukee but got to Sydney & the plane hadn't turned up(WTF!!?!?! :shock: ) so I ended up going Akl-Sydney-Akl-LA-Las Vegas-Chicago-Milwaukee.

    Last time Pearl Jam came to my state was in 2000 and i was only in 2nd grade so i haven't seen them yet! but Wrigley will be my first so i'll be going about 1,300 miles (from New Mexico) to see them! :)

    Sydney Australia to Prague/Berlin/Stockholm/Copenhagen is the furthest I've travelled for PJ but I did add another couple of weeks of travel to that to justify the distance/expense! In July however, I will be travelling from Australia to the US for Wrigley and only Wrigley. There and back in four days. It's going to hurt but in a very very good way ;-)

    For PJ 2.5- 3 hrs for Austin

    that's flying and technically i'll be flying from trenton to chicago

    driving- 3 hours or so (damn traffic), about 120 miles. (west Chester, PA to NYC)
