ha...wish i still had a yard. these are from a farm out in the county where we go to pick the best raspberries and blueberries every july. the family that owns this farm are super nice...i bought a jar of their fresh blackberry honey too...it's beyond yumtastic

I don't think I focused on the chimney in that house. (I tend to focus on leaves.) I agree with you about the patterns made with old stones though. Old stone walls and chimneys are interesting!
On my vacation I spotted these flowers along the waterside. I don't know their name in English, even don't know their official name in Dutch, just their nickname, Pispotje (translated it means: Piss-pot.) Looking it up in the dictionary, it appears to be their official name in Dutch. in English they are called: Great Bindweed. In my country they have been gone for some years, Due to overactive weed-extermination. I'm glad to see them again...

i thought these are some kind of wild mountain rhodies (rhododendrons) ...after a quick search i found this variety is called 'rosebay'
