This isn't a great picture but it captures something that fascinates me. There are some corners that have large communities of birds while other corners don't. I always wonder about that. Why are some corners so full of these bird families while others aren't?!
Anyway, this is a community near a corner I stop at every morning on the way to work. :P
I didn't take this picture. It came from twitter or something last night. I just like it! It's the ferris wheel in Seattle lit up for the concert last night.
While searching my photo collection for something to put up on Facebook for Valentine's day, I found this one. It's not a Valentine photo but I love how bright the colors are compared to the background.
I went to a junkyard with the boys to find parts for their project car and I found good subjects for pictures!
(Here are a few of the hundred or so pictures I took.)
Marco Casagrande says " Designing is not sufficient. Design should not replace reality. The building must grow out of the location; it must be a reflection of life and also be itself, as every other living being" After seeing your beautiful pictures I came across this quote on my calendar and thought it spoke to me of the pieces you put up and the nature of building cars as reflections of life and our motivations for movement joy and beauty being all encompassing in the complex junkyard of life. Thanks for sharing!
I really like this, although I'm not quite sure why! There's just something mysterious about it...
I haven't posted anything in ages (there's been a bit of a lack of inspiration recently) but I love checking in to see what you've put up
Thanks.
Here are two more versions of that same place. I was trying to figure out how to capture the orange reflection on the water and as you can see the group of three pictures have varying degrees of clarity because of the different camera settings. The third one here has the green light streak of a boat zooming by!

I might have put it up five years ago!
I think it makes a good background for some types of photos.
