I have realized that I will probably never end up framing this poster so I have decided to sell it.

Asking $480 (below ebeans 6-month average).

Great price for a poster that you sat on for a little more than a year and now you will get 4X your money back. Try E-bay at that. Sorry for the sour grapes but I tried hard to get that poster but was shut out by all of the other deserving people that had to have this print, only to see half of them flipped for 3 to 4 X the price.
Sorry for the rant and I know that you are asking less than others have sold it for but don't think you are a nice guy for only quadrupling your profit on a highly sought after poster.

I wish I had the $90 that day. :0) Most importantly, so many selling posts that, first, start with a justification for why we're selling things at 4x the original cost. None needed. An item is worth whatever it's worth to the guy buying it.

Isn't it? We have officially reached silliness... and that's not good.

    How about...

"I'm not gonna frame this and I'm asking $480 for it. PM please."

I don't know the seller at all. All the people crying need to just avoid the thread then. It's funny to see adult's act like children when they don't get something. Good luck with the sale and don't worry about the haters, this boards full of them.

I don't think the guy paid 480 bc I would not of been siting in a tube. However, he can sell it for any price that he wants.

Please do share what makes you so "deserving" you mean you really really wanted it right? Not sure how one is able to classify themselves as being deserving of owning a piece of art. Kind of like the members who deserve Wrigley tickets too???

Let a man sell an item and if you don't like it don't need to say anything at all. Remember this one from your childhood... "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all"

OP is a nice guy and a good member. Price is way more than fair. I'd be all over it if I thought there was a chance my wife wouldn't murder me for dropping the money on as she puts it "another dumb poster". :D:D

    Best of luck!!

OP gives and gives to others on here and never asks for anything in return. Its his to sell it at his price. If its too expensive, don't buy it. Demand dictates the price. If no one buys it, then it was too high. If someone takes it, then it was a good price agreed between buyer and seller. If you had issue, just pm the OP and keep it private. He deserves that much and not to have his thread derailed. The seller deserves that as foes everyone else that posts something here.

He is free to ask whatever he wants for it and it is up to the purchaser to decide if they are willing to pay the price - that's how the free market works. I'd want at least that much to part with mine.

    Good luck with your sale.

Tell your wife she can't drop any more money on make-up or hair. I know she's your boss but, she should understand and like the poster too. Don't live in fear that she will murder you. Take a paid vacation.

I have a digital image of this I use as my wallpaper on my desk top. I printed a pic I took from my phone and put it on my wall.

I have to look at it often and never had the chance to buy it when I had the money.

    It's a favorite of mine.

Bump for the seller. Good luck with your sale.

I actually laughed out loud as I read this thread because I wasn't expecting to see my poster pictured or talked about in this thread.

I'm glad others like the frame choices I used. I was thinking of putting in my ticket stub & wristband too, but I decided not too. I think I'll put those into may Day 1 & Day 2 frames, whenever I get the cash to frame those two.

Once again, best of luck with your sale!

good luck with the sale dude

Personally was never a fan of this poster, but its hugely sought after and the value has held strong.

Low print run from a legendary show like PJ20 and you are bound to have a mega valuable item.

agree what many have said, this guy is one of the very good ones.......
