Dude straight up quit on his team. Was locked into a long term deal, Lions wouldn't trade him or build around him, so he said fuck it. For shame, could have held the record until Emmit would have eventually got it. Sad story, he thinks his team wasn't interested in winning, so he quit. True Story.......

This guy was a pleasure to watch!
A big reason why I started watching football.

Although I've been a Packers fan since '94. I always was amazed at what this
fella could bring to the table! Mostly with the "cuts" and the runs "after" hit.
Remember when he lost his shoe! still got the TD!

    Human Highlight Reel! 8-)

I think he retired early, but he went out on top!
Too bad he played for the Lions.

He probably would have played longer if he had a better team and supporting cast.
I hate Dallas but imagine if he had their offensive line from the 90's to block for him!

Barry was one of the three most freakish rbs of my time...Barry, Walter, and bo
Amazing that both Barry and Bo just vanished from the public eye. Two icons when I was growing up.

very true. they were both flat-out amazing. i'm convinced that if Bo would have picked one sport, he would be in the HOF in that sport. not a doubt in my mind.

He probably could've been in the HoF in both sports. Saw somebody compare Deion to him the other day and thought wondered what the hell some people are thinking.

Bo was an all star in both sports. So strong and unbelievably fast. After watching the Bo Knows 30 for 30 I'm convinced that without the injury, and if he set his mind to it, he would've been among the greatest in both sports. Guy was just a freak athlete and we'll probably never see anything like him. I'd say Lebron is the closest thing going.

Sanders is easily the best RB I ever watched. Too young to remember Payton, but watching the highlight reels, Sanders' is far more impressive. And is it true he never had a probowl lineman?
