    I met my special someone 8) after I moved to Seattle almost 4 years ago w/ a mutual love for art n' music. We met at the Paramount Theatre at a Them Crooked Vultures show. After chatting, the mention of "Pearl Jam" came up. Then I saw her record collection. END. OF. STORY.

    ha ha ha...it happened...I was there :-) I don't know how to post a photo though! My dad walked me down the aisle to Tuolumne, and we walked back to Acoustic #1--perfect!

    Ticket buddies for life...but my number is still lower ;)

    It's pretty fukn sweet.. It makes some relationship troubles a non-issue

    Like..

    1. "Where are we going on vacation this year?" (pearl jam shows, duh)
    2. "you cant spend all that money on Pearl Jam tickets!!" (oh yes, WE can and we will save up for it together)
    3. "$200 bucks for a record?! are you nuts?! (not nuts at all, it was actually a good deal and I cant wait to spin it)
    4. "why do have to listen to nothing but PJ shows on long trips?" (lets listen to Grand Rapids '06 again!!)

    just to name a few..

    I don't think I have ever met or had conversation with Mr Groom, but the bride is a class act!!!
    She offered her help when I needed some travel advice to 'rescue' some family that had been stranded and hospitalized while on vacation.

    Congratulations!

    On the 17th of this month it will be our 1st wedding anniversary - my amazing husband and I met right here on this board as well, and he moved from the US to Australia almost 2 years ago now. Now we are expecting our baby girl in July!

    It's awesome finding someone who you gel so completely with. :) Congrats again.
