I would love to do this, but sadly most of the dates fall within my university exam period! :(
    ~AKA Dave-of-the-dead~

    I don't wanna think, I wanna feel

    Dublin 23/08/06 Lisbon I 04/09/06 Lisbon II 05/09/06 Paris 11/09/06 Verona 16/09/06

    London 18/06/07 Dusseldorf 21/06/07 Copenhagen 26/06/07 Nijmegen 28/06/07
  • I would love to do this...... I can only do random dates though, would that work?? I want to go to Poland..... And Cpenhagen & Holland!

I'm doing everything and certainly think that a Bus would be the best option (from Munich though...Lisbon-Madrid I believe would cost too much to do on a bus)

the only problem I have is I know that Pin and AmentToThat lost a lot of money on the last tour because the bus wasn't full all the time.
...and being out of work there's no way that I can upfront (and risk losing) the money for it.

So I'm going to have a look this week about the costs, but it's doable only if people do the whole or big chunks, like (London-)Munich-London or London-Werchter-London)...people hopping on and of for 2 dates leaves too many gaps and the person organising out of pocket.

I'll also look at setting up a website of some sort to try organising that.

Just to make this clear, is this a van van, or a van like ETB last year?
    Thanks.

Probably should have read the rest of the thread before posting but it seems there are a few who would like to do Katowice to Poland. Surely something could be worked out. As Heineken Helen said, 'Fuck the money, just do it'

  • Haha how do you guys have the money, or get the time off work?? I'm so jealous. Tbh I'd probably do the whole thing if I didn't have a Muse gig & Glastonbury in there.

Although if I don't get Glasto tickets I may be trying to scavenge tickets, flights & hotels for the remainder of the leg after London :)

It's about 12+ hours by train I believe.
That's nothin! Last summer I was travelling by train for close to 30 hours to get from Northern Poland to Zagreb just for one gig.

Count me in for London - Werchter - London! Have to work on my holidays for a bit. Worst case scenario Wembley here plus the Copenhagen - Werchter leg.

I've checked the trains and it's not that bad... 9 hours the max Tuttlingen-Scheessel

Oh, it's not the 12+ hours, it's that the gig is the very next day.

I am also definitely going to do this from London through Belgium!
  • The Munich to Katowice is going to be the toughest shows to get between.

I wonder if a bus just for that night could be organized.

My friend Jason and I would definitely be interrested in that.
