What's your favourite show from the 2000 tour and WHY?

I'd have to go with Memphis 2000 - what a fantastic set list. Thin Air? Of The Girl? Tremor Christ? A real emotional Nothingman. Punk rock version of Can't Help Falling In Love? This is a dark horse show you must listen to....oh and holy shit, the ending to Go? Are you serious!? Wow!!!

You know, if you are sitting around today bored, there is a certain site that streams the entire 2000 tour. Take a listen to some. If you are like me and today your stuck in your office with no client's to see because of a snow storm, dig in and come here to talk about what you are listening to and why 8-)

    That's easy...Indianapolis...my first PJ show!
"Then the Spirit of God hovered over the water, and God said, Let there be music, and there was Pearl Jam."

Whose idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have an "S" in it?

God, it is hard to pick just one show from each tour but I have concluded for some time now that Nashville 2000 is my favorite of the Binaural tour. Nashville was performed the night after Memphis; which by the way is in my top 10 shows from 2000 easily, so good choice 2-feign-reluctance ;) . You're right that it is a dark horse/sleeper kind of bootleg that doesn't get the love it deserves.

Anyways, why is Nashville my choice? First, I love the way the show flows. Ed structured the setlist very well to where the show has a fluent vibe and flow (Of the Girl in the middle of the set followed immediately by Better Man works so well). Second, Ed's voice was damn good that night (Daughter especially). Third, one of the more humorous screw ups the band has done in Gods' Dice, I chuckle every time. Fourth, lots of fantastic versions of songs (Breakerfall, Do the Evolution, Porch, Daughter, Of the Girl, Untitled/MFC).

This board could be covered with threads about Binaural and the 00 tour and I would be content.

First official boot I ever bought. Still one of the best.

I gave up on it a long time ago and a friend persuaded me to go back and really let it sink in. I am glad I did. With only a few small exceptions and the big hiccup in Gods Dice, the guys put on a very solid performance with a lot of potency.

Virginia Beach! Not only because it was my first show, but because of the significance of the show. Such a sweet high school graduation gift.

Seeing them again in Va Beach 2008, opening with the same two songs (Long Road, Corduroy) and then talking about that 2000 show made it even more special.
