    Its only been played twice in Hawaii ....

    No, At any live show there is always a big mixing desk and sound equipment normally at the back of the floor. they get a direct feed from all the mics and amps on stage and they mix the sound live back there so you get the right mix at the venue, like so you are not hearing to much drum or the guitars being louder then the singer ect then that sound comes out of the main venue speakers. there is all so a front of house mixing board side of stage, sometime you see ed or who ever turn to the side of stage and point either up or down and normally to a guitarist or something, meaning he wants that guitarist turned up in his monitor so he can hear them better, or quieter if he points down.

    but anyway they can record directly from the main soundboard so you get crystal clear sound, unlike audience recorded boots where someone in the crowd has a small mic and all you normally hear is the crowd yelling.

    but yeah thats basically how they record live shows.

    Sweet....so at Rod Laver there was equipment at the back of the seating on the floor so that was recording and lighting?.....I wasnt sure because at Newcastle I couldnt see anything on the floor. So it wouldve been on the stage??..
