Oz, Andrew or any Newcastleiiites how far is this joint from the Ent Centre. Is it walkable in a pissed state or will it be easy to get a cab after the concert.

About 5 -10 mins drive
I wouldn't walk it, it's a bit far.
Taxis will be easy to catch though from the train station across the road from the ent cent
Nice choice of hotel. 4 1/2 stars, and it's part of Newcastle's largest club.

Yeah 180 for a regular and 210 for a spa room. Couple of hrs in the spa with a big fat doobie to relax after a nite of PJ sounds sweeet.

Is it likely that some of the bars will be open after 12???

im still pretty upset about Steve going... i cant bare to watch the news anymore... i cant believe how insensitive people are being. :(

how are everyone's preperations for the tour coming along? everyone sorted? joel and i booked the car hire for adelaide and accomodation in the barossa yesterday. getting really excited now... like squiggles in the belly excited... only two and a bit more months to go!!

Hey Megan! I did make the mushies. I didn't use garlic because I couldn't quite remember. I thought they were a little bland compared to usual (but still lovely). Leigh thought they were great and tasted the same. Next time, I'm going to use garlic for a change.

I was telling Leigh the other night "Now TWO PJ people have made my stuffed mushies!!! One Aussie and one American!" I'm glad you liked them. It feels good having someone make a recipe that I made up (but I did look at about 10 different internet recipes and combined several of them).

I agree about Steve. I really liked him (and I'm just not getting on the "poor Steve" bandwagon). I thought he was awesome! In 2001 I went to Australia Zoo (before it looked "anything" like it does now) and the whole time I had my camera and looking around "Where's Steve? Where's Steve??" But I asked and he wasn't there that day.

Where you're staying the bar is open till 3am, and the pokies till 6am
