    Yeah you either grasp it straight away or it takes a while to pick up. I remember trying to learn debits and credits 10 years ago and it used to do my head in.

    I tend not to get too involved in the tax return stuff - Im sick of the "I thought Id get more tax back than that" or "Oh I definately should be getting a refund". My time (currently) is mostly spent with super funds and other structures (eg limited partnerships, trust etc).

    Really love my job(mainly coz its my little nest egg/future/retirement/only thing I have in life) just hate the spastics that I have to deal with sometimes (which u get in any job but less than when I worked in hospitality).
    I'll ride the wave where it takes me.
